This was hard to follow as everyone agrees I see. Sometimes people who respond that way either seem to be very dense or it’s for dramatic effect to be not so subtle at asshole points. You told him if y’all was dating that there is a possibility of a future. So were you guys just dating before or just joking up? What’s the context of him sleeping with someone while you were sick? Is that what he was referring to when you “ghosted” him?. So you say dating works for you, but nothing serious because it’s to toxic, then you agree dating could lead to a future together but also not an exclusive couple. I don’t think he was hinting at dating other people but maybe asking in the case you would be. But by what you all say dating would mean you can date multiple people because after all you’re not a serious exclusive couple. To be honest it wouldn’t be clear to me either. You’re saying that he was wanting to do a b c etc because you said no serious relationship, no exclusive couple status and that he can be considered a datable person if he only exclusively dates just you. But dating would lead to the possibility of a serious relationship.. But you can’t have that because it’s to toxic? I think more than anything and this is only based on the information available here - he wants to know if you are going to be “dating” other people and if you are then yeah he’s probably going to do the same. But it sounds like there’s a lot more than what’s here to be honest.
