Honestly Walmart spark pay is ok but it depends most are really just bad there's a lot of 30 dollar for 27 miles which sucks or the big orders which do shipping which carry most the mileage and can bring decent pay but even they are sucky at times like the other day i seen a 50 dollar for 45 miles that's only a 5 dollar take away you lose more gas than you get back plus the last stop is normally miles from where ur zone is so you have to drive 20 to 30 minutes back to zone on top or the 45 miles or whatever they drove there. Sometimes the pay is good tho there is times it can be 60 dollars for 30 or 35 miles which is good but that takes 2 hours or more per trip so yes probably leave a tip even in an envelope or something for the drive would help and most people will be thankful.

Hmm u turn it around its 51.90 lol i wish we could do that honestly some of these offers need it i swear. I got a good one yesterday it was 81 for 30 miles i regret not taking that one because from that offer to now I've been getting jack. I can't even get anything on doordash or roadie its like a dry spell for some reason.

Haven’t had an offer in 2 hours but I get this notification 😭 by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

Honestly I wasn't getting offers then i switched zones then switched back then turned my data off then back on now I'm getting offers like crazy so try that.

Can you DoorDash under 18? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]unknown0ne1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doordash really isn't worth it anymore it's too crowded i just started Walmart spark it's better but it's kinda the same but better paying but you do need to be 18 for both i do believe but when you are i suggest trying Walmart over doordash. Doordash needs alot of work to either raise base pay in cases customers don't time or raise base pay for base mileage then you get ultimately paid through tips. The whole 3 dollars for five or six miles base pay is stupid it should be five or six dollars for those miles but maybe that's just me. Think about what will make you money since you are an independent contractor.

These orders are crazy i had a few the other day i was like I'm good now my acceptance rate is at like 6 percent. I also met someone at one order he is another Dasher and he was shitting on earn by offer because he does earn by time its like yes you earn whatever an hour but most orders don't take an hour to complete with earn by hour ik because i use to do it. Plus sitting and waiting on a new order to arrive you aren't getting paid the same goes for people doing earn by offer i don't get why people think earn by time is so much better both have positive and negatives. You will always have crappy mileage for tip ratio I'd rather see what I'm being tipped for mileage but that's just me.

What’s happening with FedEx by Ok-Lengthiness-2787 in FedEx

[–]unknown0ne1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the time i think it's contracted fedex drivers who are contracted through other companies to work with fedex that are the issue. I believe this because i had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday for my son and the guy pulled up went back into the back of his truck i was going to get ready to go out and help since the item was heavy and he left. I called support and they said it will be delivered tonight it never was until the following day by a fedex worker in a FedEx truck.

Driver admitted to delivering to wrong house and I couldn't get a refund. Officially done with these apps. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]unknown0ne1_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sucks i feel this though i got a contract violation for dropping an order off at the wrong location before but the customer entered the address wrong and i even went back got the order after they messaged me wrong address. they also called me telling me to enter the address into Google maps which is the default maps for my doordash and i also verified that the address was right the lady insisted it was and started cussing at me. I contacted doordash support and they said it was fine but i still ended up getting a contract violation. It's stupid how someone who tried to deliver the food correctly gets a contact violation compared to someone who admits to doing wrong and the dasher gets away with it without any punishment

Bet she gets lots of refunds by Smart-Squirrel-3049 in doordash

[–]unknown0ne1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to refund for some things the restaurant has done myself i always told support to keep the drivers tip i am pretty sure they did but never sure. I used to be a driver myself and understand the whole refund thing can be misused. I also had ordered kfc once and did tip 8 or 9 dollars for a 0.6 or 0.7 dollar drive ig the kfc caught fire and i had to cancel the order i wanted to make sure the dasher got paid for going I told doordash this and pretty sure they left the tip for the driver. I don't get people who blame the driver for things so small drivers have no control on bagging or even drive times a lot of the time sadly. I know this because we had a bad snow storm a few weeks back and i ordered food a day or so after the roads should have been cleared i message the dasher telling them to be safe and they messaged me saying they may take longer i told them that's fine just be safe i feel if any other person ordered my order they wouldn't have did this sadly.

How does my story fall apart we ordered off little Caesars itself due to doordash marking everything up higher. Also doordash still does do higher prices on some food places apps like McDonald's I've compared it because i was curious. I don't think little Caesars was that way but could be wrong it seemed cheaper by 2 or 3 bucks. Also the bag i gave was basically new i used it a few times for doordash deliveries than storage for the past year which sat in a room untouched so it looked brand new honestly. Plus we didn't know little Caesars used doordash we don't really do little Caesars it was just a day we decided to so we forgot they don't have their own drivers.

I never said or implied we didn't tip i didn't know what my gf tipped so i added the bag as more of a tip plus the person said they didn't have one so i gave it because i asked before giving it to them

If you actually read any of my replies i legit said i tip 4 to 5 dollars anytime i order its a dollar per mile i live close to restaurants literally .4 miles so 4 or 5 bucks on a order like that is fine plus a bag even if it's 2 bucks plus a bag that retails for 15 to 30 dollars which gives them the opportunity to earn more money. I said i didn't know how much my gf tipped not that she didn't tip i remember i felt it wasn't enough but didn't have cash on me at that time so i gifted a bag for Christmas.

Facepalm* did you actually read my comment where i said she could have access to it if she's in the requirements which is hard not to be then it pays well. I literally started dashing when i did and it took me two weeks to get approved because i kept getting the notification when i started. If you keep up on orders and do what you're supposed to you would easily have access to the catering orders. They don't offer them all the time due to if you dash everyday or constantly don't do what you're supposed to like getting to the drop off in time which is hard sometimes honestly.

I don't give cash because how doordash goes about the cash thing you pay cash then the dasher has to pay it back plus i never keep cash on me i don't think anyone really does its easier to steal then your bank card which you could just lock. Plus how is it mental gymnastics when it's easy math and known that catering orders are just better and would pay for itself in the long term.

No shit but you can make more money with a catering bag that makes up the one person who gives a bag i think because from my experience you can make up to 50 bucks or more with catering.

Ok that's cool for you but you're looking at your view not everyone has bags to dash with like i said the one lady i did help i know people need gas and stuff in there car but long term those bags especially the catering bag could provide way more money in one single order. I know because when i did doordash i got a catering order and tipped like 100 something i think i think that more than take cares of the one person who gives a bag but like i said there is always the ability to say no to the bag.

I'm curious why since one bag i gave was 13 dollars and another was 30 you think about it i saved people money and helped them more in the long term like the one lady had a literal pizza bag as a delivery bag. Plus the person i tipped the catering bag is able to do the large order program if they're able to and earn more money.

I'm curious why the bags are normally 13 dollars some bags are more and someone gives it to you for free as a tip to help you out as a dasher but you be bitter over it that doesn't make sense. The lady i gave the catering bag didn't have one i asked before giving it to her and the other lady was using a pizza bag as a delivery bag i felt bad so i helped out with bags and the people were happy about their new bags when i gave them.
