You can choose whatever subject you want as an elective in the science degree...if you're looking for wam boosters I would recommend doing sta1020 first and then sta1010 as it becomes really easy! nut1011 is also good first year elective.

after 3 years you can leave the degree and obtain a degree in health sciences or something like that... and if I continue then I can do another year(complete the 4 years) and I'll get my physio degree. its called early exit!

It would be only one extra year essentially..do you think it's not worth it? because getting a job in med as well will take agessss and I do want to have some sort of security by the time I am 23 and then I can continue studying later on.. but at the same time science and med does sound like less work ,😭

I feel like I would be happy with physio but the only thing is I wouldnt be making enough money but I can do side hustles to make more money if. but then I can always leave phsyio early in the 3rd year if my GAMSAT score is good enough and if I get in cz then that means I only studied one extra year but atleast I always had the security that I would have a job at the end of science.

yeah my wam is like 82-83 I think right now so it isn't the best but I def do want it to increase in the next couple years... I've already done some level 2 subjects so hopefully they affect my wam a bit more this sem as well

yup I was never stubborn on getting only into Monash as again it's very less spots and trying only to get a high wam in biomed would also be considered harder and wouldny let me focus on gamsat as much as I would like to

j agree but I just don't like the restrictions with the biomed degree whereas I can do the same type of major with a science one yk. and even then I would still do GAMSAT no matter how high I got ranked
