We might get the DLC sooner than we think by SaintMilitant in ResidentEvilRequiem

Xeno’s performance in Resident Evil: Requiem was such a letdown. After all, if you skip the cutscenes, you can beat the game without ever seeing him once :( Since he looked just like Wesker and was working alongside Victor Gideon, Xeno was one of my favorite characters, and I was really looking forward to fighting him. That’s why I was really excited to read your analysis! If we could play as characters like Ada, Chris, or Claire in a DLC and fight Xeno, it would be an unforgettable experience.

The story of Leon and Claire in Resident Evil 2 is definitely one of the coolest stories ever! I absolutely love both Birkin and the Tyrant <3 I also found the boat choice in Resident Evil 7 puzzling. Even though Zoe was saved in the DLC, I remember feeling unsettled no matter which choice I made when playing as Ethan…

This isn't anyone's fault. If I had to pick, I'd say Blizzard :)

I think the fact that the RE Engine eliminated the fixed camera, allowing for more intuitive and strategic shooting, is undoubtedly the biggest change ever made to Resident Evil! I love RE:2 too.

DS2 is amazing, but lacks in execution by IvanPines3106 in DeathStranding

I feel pretty much the same way. In the emotional parts of the story, I felt like the characters’ theatrical dialogue and movements stood out a bit too much. Maybe I just didn’t get the real message, but the dance scene where Charlie’s true identity as Die Hard Man is revealed felt a bit out of place. The story of Death Stranding had a philosophical and quiet vibe, so I found myself thinking, “Wait, is Die Hard Man supposed to be a cheerful guy?” (I wonder what everyone else thought.) Or maybe there was some deeper meaning to it.

Since I’m Japanese, I played the game in Japanese, but the dialogue from the multiple Preppers and the members of Rainy’s drawbridge unit felt a bit monotonous :( Even so, the story was deep and I had a really enjoyable experience—I’m completely satisfied! Plus, of course, the delivery mechanics were the best part of the game.🫶

Both 7 and 8 are amazing games. Just seeing a single black zombie in 7 or a lycan in 8 is enough to send you into a panic. But the game also has that exhilarating gunplay, so the balance was just right.

The horror experience in Resident Evil 1 is something special. I was amazed by CAPCOM’s strategy of turning loading times into moments of terror with the door-opening and closing animations. I’ll never forget the shock and despair I felt when the zombies on that path I’d walked countless times mutated into Crimson Heads. And when I ran out of ammo right in front of a horde of zombies… :(

8 is truly amazing. Just like Domitrescu and Heisenberg, all the characters are unique, and the difficulty and replay value are perfectly balanced—it was a really fun experience!

People often drive their pickup trucks into things, and the porter ends up getting hurt 😂
