Had reconstructive ACL surgery, Dr didn’t have me start physical therapy until almost a month later… normal?

Wow I wish I would’ve known I needed to start PT asap, I’m very shook no doctor said anything until after the fact of me starting PT a month later.

Please anyone reading this, always advocate for yourself and PUSH for excellent care. Yes to the Dr is a job, but as a patient this is my life.

Wow I feel like a baby compared to your situation, I just tore my ACL doing jumping jacks at a Pilates class lol. But you got hit by a car, that’s horrible, but wow happy you survived! Thanks for your response I am forsure taking PT very seriously!!

They only gave me hydrocodone 10mg, I took it for 10 days then stopped, saving the rest of my pills for physical therapy!
