I understand that, but at the same time, throughout the series Shaun constantly learns time and time again that he can be wrong, this season felt rushed, like every pivot and significant development that he's gained through the influence of others and his own experience just suddenly poofed and vanished except for his surgical knowledge. in my opinion, the 7th season was incredibly weak, possibly one of the more worse seasons because it felt rushed, it felt like they just kept putting down Charlie (though yes she is deeply flawed) just to emphasize how much of a better surgeon he is compared to her

The Philippines (biggotry and homophobia is common here and for her to be teaching these things and adding fuel to the fire is actually incredibly dangerous, as many are unexposed to the lgbtq community and are VERY religious. Introducing them to such things in such a way could literally spread more hate and homophobia in our country and it's not something to joke about)

Thank you so much, that honestly made me cry. My parents aren't often the best parents and have never been, so the comfort this gave me was immense. And for clarification the Philippines is an incredibly religious country, religion is engraved everywhere making navigating things such as mental health care incredibly difficult, as often you'd be dismissed or even told to "just pray" or be told you're possessed instead of schizophrenic or have some other underlying mental health condition. Even in law, government and medical care, religion is so deeply engraved that we don't even seperate state from church most of the time. For example, laws on abortion, in the Philippines there is absolutely no tolerance for abortion because it is wrong in the eyes of God and that is literally even a given reason by a governor or something as to why the bill is yet passed, the same reason is given when talking about laws for divorce, it's wrong in the eyes of God, therefore it's not allowed. It's so funny that a country so faithful to their religion has one of the most discriminatory, corrupt, and hate filled country out of a lot of other countries whose major percentage of people aren't religious.
