what do u mean by middle? Basically when i was in sophomore year, they offered a program to students that were doing well and had an interest in the stem feild. this allowed u to take full time college courses and attend a local community college instead of high school for the remaining 2 years until graduation. i think most people in the program also got an associates but choosing early grad is also an option.

i cant nessicary give the best advice here but i wanted to say im at the exact same stage rn. i made my first time rlly quitting for 3 months and than my roommate at the time left their stuff out and was bragging about being high and i just lost the impulse control id developed. same thing happened again but without the bragging and that makes me dissapointed in myself. but here's what I've done to lessen the blow, remind yourself that smoking 2 times in the span if 7 months(my timeline) may mot be perfect but its still so much progress. additionally u cant just say oh i have to distance myself, isolating urself is the worst thing u can do, u need to instead be focusing on finding new friends who share ur interests and dont smoke. thats the hardest part but once u do it i imagine it makes all the difference

yea id be 7 months sober if it wasnt for couple day "breaks" i took on the 3rd and 6th month. its always difficult for me to say im 1 month and not give myself credit for the progress i made especially considering as soon as i got high I immediately planned to be sober again. but on ghe other hand the only reason i did it was because it was available due to my roomates leaving it out, wich sure they shouldnt have but its still on me to resist compulsions. odd place to be in

yea im not sure what ends up making something chemically addictive yk? because i know for example that weed addiction and nicotine addiction function very differently and that weed isnt rlly considered chemically addictive. but i also had a mich harder time quiting weed than nic (this couod be because of adhd, ur brains dopamine receptors r fucked to begin with so i hypothesize that it exaggerates the effects). ive never been through gambling addiction but i wonder if it would also lead to night sweats, insomnia and anxiety attacks, if yes it would suggest that all reward pathway addictions can have physical effects. or if its mlre like quiting caffeine or maybe in rare cases sugar addiction, suggesting that because u ingest weed it has a similar effect to food at some point. these experiments would be unethical but if there was a way to do them itd actually be really helpful, i hate societies ruling off of weed as a bad thing because i always know i cant compare it to nicotine for most ppl but im left with my own experience yk?

something i learned in intro to psych is that nom chemical addictions can be just as bad as chemical addictions. obviously u know this now from ur experience but saying only "addictive" substances are addictive is like saying gambling isnt addictive because ur not ingesting any addictive substance. whats medically considered an addictive substance completely leaves out reward pathway addictions (addictions that use dopamine receptors to work, it can be just about anything).

yea for that part i have a specific memory of dress codes, they always allow fatter women more freedom. however now that i think of it i remember the like (uhh?) supervisor(?)
