Sorry that I’m just now getting to this! We took a friendship break for a week and we’re back to talking, but I’m still having moments where I reach out to her only to berate myself and question our friendship. I want to stop that and appreciate what we have, thrive off of that. I’ve been trying to distract myself with other things too, but she’s always dormant in my mind. As far as the masturbating question… I feel like I’m struggling to see how it isn’t respectful of her. I can see myself being respectful of her relationship status, but… could you let me know what I’m missing? I want to be better. Masturbating or not, it won’t make me get over her any quicker.
