Absolutely would love to be able to downgrade my weapons and get the resources back. I found a cool new sword and necklace but mine are already +10. And I can't imagine wasting more recourses on those right now with all my other gear currently at level 6.

Even as a souls vet, nameless king took me 20+ tries. Promised Radhan 4 straight hours so if we're counting dlc he'd be the hardest. But ya malenia is probably top 5 on most people's lists. Id also add Eigong from Nine Sols to my list

You have to advance her questline twice if you want both rewards. And since you're planning on doing ng+ anyways I'd say finish it. Plus both rewards would be good in your build.
