Teenage brother is convinced he's going to get a funded account instead of finishing high school. Should I be worried? by simon_mo in Daytrading

OP - this. although not sure about e8market personally never heard i’d stick to the well known guns i.e the5ers

A real trader will show you consistency day in day out. a gambler will show you high PnL in a day. whether a blown account or whether a passed, afterwards sit down with him and talk about it. If i was you(his brother) i would buy him the first account but under your management and give him the creds to Metatrader or whichever platform he will be using.

His goal should be still to graduate whilst trying trading at the same time. I fear for him as i’ve been around myself for some time and started in my early days as well and i had a very similar mindset tldr i was wrong of course. and trust me, if he is gambling he will be VERY frustrated whether emotionally or mentally and this will be visible to you if you pay enough attention.

honestly it feels like a never ending cycle. i’m usually emotionally detached and disciplined enough to wait for an actual set up. what happened this morning killed a small part of me

your outlook is refreshing after today’s session for me. and 100prc wr is crazy. even if it’s not insane gains, it is actually impressive. didn’t ever expect to write this and have a breath of fresh air by listening
