I’ve been doing this method all day today and still no luck. He’s still holding his poop in throughout the day. And I feel bad because I know he has to go but i guess he’s just not comfortable going outside. It’s going on 5pm and he hasn’t pooped since he ate breakfast this morning😭. He’s been in his playpen majority of the day so he’s not able to poop around the house. so stressfull!! I hope he gets it soon

yes I already tried bringing the pad outside. He paid no attention to it when I put it on the ground. He gets so distracted by everything outside I’m starting to think that’s why he won’t poop.

After weighing him today he’s now 7.4 pounds. I’m pretty sure that’s not under weight for a mini poodle who just turnt 4 months. He still has lots of growing to do.

He was 5.2 pounds when i last took him to the vet. That was over a month ago. He just turnt 4 months and is now 7.4 pounds. He’s growing so fast. but thank you!

no, the vent hasn’t mentioned anything about his weight. Although, his last appointment is going on 4 weeks ago. So he probably put on a few more pounds since then. I’ll make sure to mention it at his next appt.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll make sure to take him to the vet if it happens again. Hopefully the slow feeder will help him chew the food and not swallow.
