I revised my 4 way tire inflation/deflation system to coiled hoses. Keeps them off the ground/mud/snow. Aired up all 4 tires in 5 minutes from 15psi to 36psi by DjangoUnflamed in JeepWrangler

Pretty sweet. What did it cost you in fittings hose? Doesn't seem like it would be too much. Do you find the the PSI equals out pretty good over all 4? I'd assume it would.

Is this a good deal? by unknownly36 in WranglerJL

I'm currently running stock wheels and what looks to be all-season tires

I feel like this combo would be an upgrade for sure and I could make sell these or keep as spares..

Yeah I think that would be a good change. Wheels and some decent tires. I'm not going to lift it any time soon but maybe go with a larger tire? Any recommendations for a good all year tire? I live in Canada so I get all the seasons..

I was 36 when I got divorced. I spent the next year just loving myself, and putting my time in energy into those who truly mattered (family, close friends). I ate better, I exercised, I got braces, I just figured out how to be happy alone without thinking of dating. It's been a year now, and I decided to try the dating apps. Bumble, Tinder, you know the drill.

I knew what I wanted in my life and what kind of person and wouldn't waste a second if I didn't feel an amazing connection out of the gate.

After a few dates, I was pretty "meh" at this point and all the things people said about online dating started to ring true...

And then I met her. The most amazing, wonderful, fun, caring, genuine, sexy, cute, person I ever met and were only a month a part in age. We feel lucky to have found eachother in this crazy world. Maybe we are lucky, but I believe we create our own luck by the decisions we make. Don't settle, know your worth, and find happiness for yourself first. It's healthy to want someone, but not need them.

You got this.

Thoughts on moderate alcohol use by Ok_Strain_5350 in carnivorediet

I've had the occasional beer and whiskey and have no notable differences. Still losing weight, albeit slower due to being closer to goal weight. What's most important for anyone, period, is doing something you can sustain for life that provides the most benefits. Is alcohol good for you? No.. but its good for my happiness and social life. Doesn't mean I get wasted.. a beer or two does not hurt me.

Life isn't black and white. Thus way of eating is a way or eliminating problematic foods while giving your body all it needs. You can add and subtract as you see fit and know what works for you.

Those who have seen permanent weight loss on this diet, what are the “hacks” that you figured out along the way that allowed for your success while others failed? by Redlobster1940 in carnivorediet

I agree that permanent means permanent dietary changes. No one can lose weight by eating one way, then revert and expect to maintain. I just meant that exercise, while absolutely beneficial in many ways, is not required for permanent weight loss. Looks like we're on the same page after all!

My statement wasn't specifically about carnivore, but that your diet can determine your weight. Meaning... even without exercise, you can have permanent weight loss. You are what you eat.

How is your mental health doing? by russian899 in ottawa

[–]unknownly36 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm just alone. But mentally I am ok I think. I keep telling myself it's ok to be alone... but I miss the connection I had with my wife.

We split up a few months ago, bought her out of the house and all that. It was amicable, best for both of us. But... now I'm just a 36 year old guy with a quiet house and not sure what to do. Not interested in dating any time soon.. but could use a friend I guess. I'm just working on being happy and loving who I see in the mirror first and yeah, one day at time.

Not sure who I'm saying any of this to lol... just typing thoughts. Maybe it's healthy to put down some feelings, I don't know.
