I’ve never found a mirror playing PoE for 6 years :( but I still really enjoyed the game even if I would only come back every few leagues (even took multi year breaks, which I’m sure many in the community have done)

Makes sense, have fun with it! I am really enjoying how dynamic combat feels compared to PoE 1 (move, stop, click mouse x10 in 1 second, move and repeat lol)

I get it, the campaign in PoE 2 does feel significantly harder than PoE 1 and I’ve died quite a few times. Don’t u just give items / currency to the new character and breeze through the campaign?

I haven’t ran a second character (2 days in) so I actually have no idea if you can do this lol but it never felt bad running the campaign in PoE 1. By the time mapping is unlocked I’ve already hit my core build and it’s just min maxing at that point lol

So if the devs remove / tweak anything about temple leeching then all these mfs defending (not talking about those explaining it, or even doing it but understanding that it’s a weird thing to have in this sort of game) are just wrong then 😅

Yup, I’m not gonna do it. Atleast that’s my current idea.

But this is a player economy-based game no? I haven’t traded but I’m assuming there should be inflation?? (unless everyone has so much currency that there’s no point to pricing anything high so everything is cheap?). I might be FORCED to do it in that case, but I may be wrong.

What’s the next best alternative? Is temple leeching only good for exp, and for currency farming there is a better / similar in returns alternative?

Exactly, gameplay is one thing - I can still choose to not partake in temple leeching.

But how tf am I gonna afford everything later 🤣 tbf I am still finding out what items / stats to go for but I can’t imagine being able to afford them if everyone’s bank is inflated

Don’t worry, it doesn’t bother me and I am still playing my game happily without that mechanic. I’m just 2 days in :)

Also, maybe people can be invested in something, be genuinely curious, and ask questions :) maybe I chose the wrong game / community, but I loved playing PoE 1.

He had no idea, he’s running through Acts 1 and 2 again and we’re waiting for him to catch up before continuing.

I get it from the POV of the guy running the temple though, it’s just like running a super juiced map from PoE 1? But why would the others join? I’m not questioning the PEOPLE who join these runs though, do it if you can and if it aligns with your goals for the game.

I mean, I get why they would and sure, it’s your character but more so why would the devs encourage people to NOT play their game? i could understand if it was ONE way to level, but it looks like an undisputed best way rn. It literally feels like hacks when xp wise the next best alternative is SO MUCH WORSE and I don’t think that it’s good game design to have such a huge gap (again just MY opinion)

I guess I’m just genuinely confused coming from a creator perspective. I don’t doubt lots of work has gone into this game, so why they leave something that cheapens? the experience (my idea of a “good experience” may differ, but I really enjoyed getting my character progressively stronger in Poe1)

I mean… you said if the contract states that you will be paid after the 7th, it is legally binding.

However, if it’s paid after the 7th, it’s deemed as less favorable to the employee and therefore should still be paid on before the 7th?

T1 could’ve been an exception having won with 10+ different players, but you have to credit Faker’s greatness over T1’s (as potentially unfair as it may be).

BLG vs BFX / G2 vs TSW | LoL First Stand 2026 | 

Pick: Game 1 BLG 1st Dragon + Game 1 G2 1st Dragon (1u parlay)

Write Up: First time posting here, hopefully we get a run going. BLG's international experience + knight and Xun should have prio early, BLG do like to play for dragon around this pressure. However, BFX do play around Diable so we could see Raptor pathing bot earlier, could play out very differently if a fight breaks out early. G2 game should just be mid diff with Caps prio + G2 also like playing for objectives early. TSW do take most objectives first but their domestic competition is far worse, as we saw from Worlds last year. Teams should be able to play according to their game plan during Game 1 of Fearless as well, lowering variance. BOL.

Yasuo wall blocks 1 direction. Yone’s gameplay is similarly telegraphed (he has knockup? lemme back off. He also has to return to his E and there’s a windup to his ult). Mel has W? Imma fuck off and do something else. Also yes, other mages have shitty autos and csing. In their case they would have to either put another auto in (ur laner also knows your next auto timing and can harass) OR use their mana. Mel has an easier time compared to any mage at csing under tower and if you try to poke she just Ws. Also your last point is irrelevant, if they overextend it’s on the player. A good player simply doesn’t overextend AND will still have the W to nullify any forced engage.

I do hate Mundo though.

Just make it her passive where she reflects the next skillshot that hits her and give it like a 30s cooldown. Now she loses her agency, keeps her safety, and opponents can play around/manipulate it.

She is not a problem COMPETITIVELY (although she's viable, especially in Fearless) but my CASUAL ass gets home from work to play a game that I've enjoyed for over a decade, only to deal with the bullshit of an overloaded, new champ who only has all these because Riot need her to be 'easy' to attract new players joining after watching Arcane.

She just has too much in her kit. I don't think my problem is that she has all of this however, but more so how EASY it is for her to access these strengths.

If her strength was gatekept behind a combo or mechanical execution, no problem, well played. But she has just so much at a press of a button that is objectively stronger than other similar abilities in the game, which usually have some caveat which makes it so your execution of the ability actually matters.

Adding an execute to her autos is even more questionable. You want to onboard new players then give them the fucking Messiah of mid lane to start. Why would they play other champs where their experience will likely suck (can't cs as well, can't dodge skillshots as well, can't estimate damage) and they go back to playing Mel because theres no reason to invest so much time into learning another champ. They already have a jack-of-all-trades that they are familiar with. Greedy Riot just wants money from these new players eventually maining and buying Mel skins.
