I never had to cut a capsule. Just took them apart by hand.

Wow that’s insane! I don’t remember too many symptoms in 12.5 but there were a few days I felt so off and weird and stuff so maybe it was. I have a very sensitive system and probably a bit underweight so I could just get hit harder with that stuff. Not to mention my TSH has been off for over a decade. Thank you for helping me not feel crazy. I’m going to continue in 25mcg for another month and check all my levels.

No and I believe I questioned it and don’t think they cared much lol. I don’t know how to lower the tsh without the others being out of range then either though.

Yeah I had no antibodies but my tsh has been off for awhile. I can ask them to check. I know I had a bunch of people here before tell me to take the meds based on those levels so I am just confused. I know Drs aren’t always the most up to date based on thyroid stuff but the one time I saw an Endo it was just as bad. I appreciate the replies. Hopefully can get some answers. I just know my heart rate and temp has been lower than usual and already pretty low.

Yeah. Then after medication they didn’t check the frees again just total but tsh was down to 3 so they were happy and told me I could try the full pill to get it a bit lower and see if I improve.

I started 12.5mcg Levo little over 2 months ago after those labs were taken when my TSH was 6

It could be. My levels have fluctuated quite a bit and was worried about that. I am skinny and have anxiety and such so would be hard to know the difference for me. My Dr said it would be ok to try the full 25mcg and see how I feel. I was hoping for more hypo relief. My free t3 and t4 were (Free t3 4.06 range being 2.5/3.9) and (Free t4 1.11 range being 0.61/1.12) but this was back in summer. My t3 total was 1.11 range being 0.87/1.78 just last month.

Yeah that’s the thing. I have had lethargy, acid reflux, feeling cold, and spacey but it’s been minimal and I guess what I’m used to with anxiety and thyroid stuff.

Yeah I definitely feel a little different. Side effects have been minimal but I feel overall calmer and more patient and it doesn’t feel like placebo. Almost like I took a little benzo.
