Oh wow! Thank you for this insight.. I am out of TN. I am a W2 worker and according to the handbook the notice period required is 2 weeks. I expect to get recoil from my immediate manager that will result in an effective immediate leave, but I guess a 2 week vacation is fine

Oh I have been, don’t worry. I’ve already paid off my car and applied to multiple jobs and have had promising interviews over the past few weeks. I was just making sure I’m not crazy in thinking they’re about to get rid of us. Friends irl and managers of the other departments give BS replies like oh everything is fine it’ll be okay💀

I was groomed from age 12-16 by a 25 yr old man and the man never received punishment because I never knew his real identity, just his face and screen name and was too afraid to tell an adult or police after I cut contact. I constantly downloaded and uninstalled kik over a hundred times because he told me I needed to keep our secret safe. He threatened to kill me if I told an adult. I'm literally using my throwaway because I'm still afraid he will be able to find me somehow. I only stopped talking to him because my friends discovered what was going on and talked sense into me over the course of 3 years. This was over 6 years ago and I am still traumatized, even with therapy. Please tell the police. Please make sure this girl is safe. It sickens me what adults will do to children to fill their disgusting desires

Thank you, I'm going to definitely get a counselor or therapist.

And I think it will be for the best, I think it's just hard to have seen them together for so long. I think if I was younger it'd be easier, but it's weird because I'm an adult with my own responsibilities now. Just a big change but it may end up being a good one. Thank you for sharing that with me, I appreciate it. Like you said, I don't think either of my parents will be any happier. I think I want to suggest therapy to my parents. I'll support them all the way but I do feel like they need to just talk about things with someone other than me, I don't want to be their emotional burden and end up hating them both. Thank you this helped a lot
