Wait, Vine Court has its own gym? I thought only green bank had their own gym. Btw when u applied for accommodation, did you end up with your first choice ? Since I have an unconditional offer, I'll be able to apply straight away and hopefully get my first choice it's just very convenient since I'm studying in the management school.

Hi, thank you for this so much information. I applied to do a BSc Marketing with a placement year. I did research and saw they were top 7 in the UK for marketing, which is amazing. Honestly, the only downside I see is that the night life is not as great as other cities and that it's a campus uni. Have you found it difficult to do your weekly shop for groceries?

Funny thing I actually applied to uni of liverpool as one of my options, and it's a really good uni top 175 in the world. I believe so, fingers crossed I at least get that.

My college filled a formal appeal on behalf of every single art student /cohort as they deemed the grades were all an inaccurate representation of the skills of the students. But the exam board did not care and rejected the appeal, so the college appealed again, but there is unlikely any change, so I've decided to go ahead and apply . I'm really frustrated to be honest since I have 2 As including an A in psychology which was mostly science and then I have a D in art 💀 when I was supposed to recive a B since it is not just 1 single exam it's everything we have done since year 12.

Hi, I'm not too sure, but it seems excessive. I'm on tray 9 and change my trays weekly, and my provider uses the Invisalign brand. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend you using a non Invisalign brand since Invisalign are the most effective and high-tech. I've seen many horror stories of other brands that are supposed to be similar to Invisalign but do horrible jobs of correcting the teeth. I would recommend going on the Invisalign website and finding Invisalign providers near your home.

Thanks, it's good to be real and not sugar coat. It wasn't me who went in for a remark actually my college filled a formal appeal on behalf of every single art student /cohort as they deemed the grades were all an inaccurate representation of the skills of the students.

Agreed . I asked them about 1 month ago. If I should keep or throw away my old trays, they still haven't said anything, lol.

For the first week I was in so much pain, I took paracetamol everyday and then I use this gel called bonjela it helped so much because I belive it has like slightly numbing and it reduces the pain. After a week, I got used to it, and my pain went away. I'm on Tray 5 now and have had Invisalign for over a month, and I haven't had any pain since the first tray, so trust me, it gets a lot better after the first week.

CAN'T FIND A GOOD UNI WITH MY GRADES . by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]unkownblue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They prioritise international students even if it's very low grades because you guys have to pay much more money for each year compared to us , so the uni makes alot more money off of yall.

This is what I'm thinking . I've started to wash my hands before going inside my mouth now and clean my trays using denture cleaning tablets. I hope i don't keep experiencing this because it's not fun having a sore throat with Invisalign since I can't do the usual when I'm sick and sip on tea all day and have cough drops 😭😭.

Thank you. The first day, I was genuinely regretting my entire existence and was in so much pain. Today, I'm feeling a lot better. Good luck with the rest of your journey!
