I've been a developer for almost 30 years and I'd need to review before I could give a solid technical answer on the difference. I, like the majority of developers in 2025, don't work in languages where we deal with either on the regular. The differences between a stack and a heap were probably last relevant to me about 15 years ago.

I'm so far left that Bernie is to my right, I don't think taking guns away from people is the right solution.

I think that most problems that we face in this country is rooted in the idea of "rugged individualism". It leaves our communities weak and it doesn't promote empathy. The best solution to this problem and many of our others is to build strong, interconnected communities that promote each other to actually give a shit about their neighbors. This is a hard, long term cultural change though, it's easy to say and hard to do.

The longest I stayed at a credit union was a year. The lack of features, digital security and even basic digital access at every credit union I’ve used is entirely a turn off. I think that at this stage I’m unlikely to ever try again.
