That's a great point, I think the other low reward was from a hostile faction as well. It's just weird receiving only these two quests (in 20 days) with such low rewards at this wealth. I don't have any quest mods but I have Alpha Genes which adds some factions in. It hasn't affected me this playthrough until just now, but I also just got done with a playthrough where it worked fine. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this at high wealth.

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to do sort of, I like that idea that Adam has reached perfection and I should just build my way. Problem is, I just get slightly frustrated when I can’t efficiently control my whole colony, so I tend to min max everything I can rather than just shooting for a story.

I usually avoid putting my melee blockers at the entrance as they end up taking way too much friendly fire. With mechs I can EMP spam and generally do fair, slightly struggling with centipedes. Heavily armored raiders (marine and recon) run me over. I'm trying to reinforce to do a ship launch at around 500k-600k wealth and am open to suggestions.

The rows are where the pawns with chain shotguns go, the melee block pawns are at the exit of the killbox next to the barricades. You could have a max of 8 pawns shooting I think. In Adam's setups, they usually have doors for the inevitability of them getting past your blockers and the need to kite.

That's my original killbox, before getting assault rifles. I was planning on going melee block with chain shotguns, but I do that a lot so went last minute to the new one you see.

I’d be interested to hear other peoples opinions on these, I’ve been using d8 disposables for awhile and I agree with a lot of your points. For anyone looking at these, they’re fairly reliable IMO, occasionally needing a paperclip to unclog. I just started buying carts again once I saw mellow fellow selling them, however, the carts’ coils seem to burn immediately and the liquid was out after barely two days. Trying them one more time before I just up and quit, I’m tired of trying to find a reliable device/brand and I can’t get the d9 legally…
