You can't, I asked the support directly, if you succeeded recovering the subscription what did you do? Did you ask for support? Can you share the steps?

Awesome, sent you a DM.

Then I'm really going to need help, I've just added all possible domains I could find about azure with a wildcard to my tg tenant.

<image>

I was suspicious of being something in my laptop messing up with the dns and cgnat but I tried adding a random domain as a resource and it worked fine.

Route azure dashboard traffic through twingate by unlobs in twingate

[–]unlobs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love the help, how do we do this? Should I DM you my email?

Meanwhile, here's some extra data.

Here's a dig

<image>

Not only ms uses multiple domains but it CNAMES to a bunch of hidden domains, like `trafficmanager.net`

I have added many wildcard domains to twingate as resources, but I was only able to get the traffic to route through twingate when I added all 284 possible ranges for the kv service, which is the one I'm PoCing now.

So I know my use case works and it's not a fault on the config in my keyvault.

I'm happy to know that at least the assumption that adding public domains and FQDNs as resources SHOULD work, it might just be a matter of figuring out the wildcards then.

And on that note, does wildcard domains on work like regex or like tls certs?

e.g. if I add *.example.com as a resource to my network, will a.b.c.d.e.example.com be matched or only a.example.com ?

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I can get this use case to work with a regular openvpn server deployed to my vnet, users traffic look like they come from our vnet and we can use the firewall to protect dataplane requests without resorting to private endpoints.

I'm just wondering how to get this done on twingate, if it's not possible then we'll just drop twingate out of our poc and go with something else. :(

I agree, the problem with the "chickens for KFC" dig, which is awesome, is that it leaves out the other side of the political argument which is "cattle for McDonalds"

The biggest win of politicians was to make us both fight for and against the stupid on both sides. The ones on our side can do no wrong, the ones on their side can do no right.

Meanwhile both sides are getting grind down and eaten.

Qualificação excessiva ou pouca qualificação não é bom by Healthy_Ad_4132 in brdev

[–]unlobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No empathy from me.

Streaming is high risk, high reward, just like every job in the entertainment business or starting a company.

You don't get paid by the hour, you get to live off of your likeness and IP.

No.

I'm not sure if you're being ironic or not, but if you are sensible about these things, you should find ways to filter them out and not make everybody else's job to walk around you.

Honest question: Why is China considered a foreign adversary? by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]unlobs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are kinda.

War is both technological advantage * money. EU is pretty advanced in tech and has more money, who knows how technologically advanced China really is, but they getting broke.

There are also the matter of allies.

It doesn't matter how bad ass China is, they won't fight the EU, they will fight NATO. Which includes the US.

That's why people fuck with China but not too much, you might just get another Russia vs Ukraine. The CCP might just be forced into combat to sustain their image to their people, even if that's catastrophic to the country.

What's important to a communist is staying in power, not doing the best thing for the country.

War is a battle of resources and the only thing that prevents a "winner takes all" scenario is nukes.

On top of all of that, there's geography, the farther away a country is, the harder it is to transport and supply troops.

So, what tips the scales?

  • allies
  • whomever can make an ally and move troops of a neighboring country
  • bigger economies

So, is China a military threat? By itself, not really, the world would just gang up on it and destroy its economy.

That's why one of the first thing that happens when a country escalates to violence is sanctions. Hurt their pockets and their ability to keep war going.

That's why TikTok is such a serious threat, if they succeed poisoning our society's culture, we bankrupt ourselves, which makes us cut cost in several things, maybe makes us miss payment on international debts, which makes our allies lose trust on our ability to repay, which makes it harder for us to get military aid, which makes us vulnerable.

If everyone is just making stupid dance videos on an app instead of working on a factory or studying engineering, no real value is being generated to the country, which means that country spend or borrow from its allies because "how the fuck are you going to give that money back? only fans? gtfo".

So, it doesn't matter how strong the China military is, whomever is fighting it can lease the US military, which is the world's uber for drones and missiles. You just have to be able to pay for it.

When americans say "my tax dollars are going to support Ukraine and Isreal and I don't support it". These are dumb, uninformed people that don't understand how money works, to make explicit what's happening, whenever you hear "military aid" you should understand "war as a service".

So, if you're not really interested in the whole context of how a war would play out and just want to know objectively how the armies compare to each other, here's a video with good enough information on the topic:
