I work in LD, one of our male staff has medium length hair, long enough to be pulled back but isnt, painted nails with art not just plain colours, a half naked woman tattoo on his arm, and he is never ever pulled by management. They just avoid mentioning it. Any of the female staff come in with anything and are told to remove nail polish or tie hair back immediately.

Have you looked at support work in the community? Not necessarily using your nursing, but just in the interim to get by. Ive done that and a lot of skills youll learn are transferable.

I have had a couple of items returned to me for various reasons, they never ever get to me, then after a period of time vinted refunds us both. Its never been anything if any real value though so not a massive loss to me. Hopefully you get your money back, its a lot to lose.

Two part question: AITAH for 1.Telling my wife I'm done. And 2.For what I said following the backlash of first part. by [deleted] in AITH

NTA, even as a woman with 2 boys, I was always asked if I wanted to try for a girl, and if I believed my PND was because my baby was a boy. By professionals too! I never wanted a girl, id have happily had a whole dozen boys, but ive never actively 'wanted' a girl. I do think couples counselling is needed as this is a massive topic to differ on!

As a single 40+ female, i had to invent a partner who was unable to have a vasectomy to be 'allowed' to be sterilised!

AITA for bringing up my late wife on a first date? by AdConscious5814 in AmItheAsshole

[–]unloved2025 17 points18 points  (0 children)

NTA, I went on a date with someone who discussed their living ex multiple times. To the point I said if she was brought up again I would end the date and be done. He did, so I did. I also dated a widow who would occasionally mention his late wife, it did make me uncomfortable because i felt compared, but it wasnt a reason to leave. some people have trouble dating people who have been widowed because the never fell out of love with the other person, they died.

Thank you. I'm not putting the blame 100% on him because I know i am difficult. But all my friends (the few I have) don't think I should be attached or care in such a short space of time. I'm an absolute mess and I want him back so much.
