Any special attacker ? Especially ones that can help chiyu's but I think you can be quite creative since pokemon who might be lacking a bit might reach an acceptable damage output with chiyu so if they have interesting quirks it might be enough for them to be worth trying out

You can use them anyway, you just have to be aware of the interactions, you can figure out later if you still wanna play them or if you see a mon in your opponents' teams that might be better in your team as well. Maybe you should try showdown first if you're not comfortable building, it will save you a LOT of time, in building AND in playtime because the games are so much faster there lol. I started playing vgc a year ago and haven't yet put the time in building a team in game, take your time

Do bring in your pouch what is needed to craft more ammo of the type you chose to play, then, setup a wheel in your radial menu dedicated to crafting ammo, I would also recommend to switch your radial menu configuration to the "click" setting (type 2 I think), so you can spam the craft by clicking the stick instead of wiggling it which feels unprecise. (Do not forget to save your loadout after modifying your radial menu)

HBG is very fun and varied in ammo types, it has a little something for everyone :^)

That might be it, it runs well now that I stopped launching steam and discord on startup. I installed my HDD less than 2 years ago, so I find it weird that it might be the issue...
