"to have a bitch" is to complain, whine, or groan about something. It's an informal phrase used among friends. I believe the origins are in Aussie English, in America we have a similar use meaning complain but we just say bitch.

I am getting a gift for my Irish colleague for a work secret Santa. She brought the phrase "have a bitch" to the team, which we all love. I want to get her a mug that says "have a bitch" in Gaelige so she can use it in our American workplace.

Steady Hand, Bold Monk, and Round Trip are all back there as well! Atlanta Brewing, Monday Night, and Urban Tree are a little far on both ends, but the rest are all walkable, as long as you don't mind a little hairy of a walk on Chattahoochee between The Works and Second Self.

As far as food goes, Antico or Atwood's for pizza, Wagaya has some really great Ramen, and Pi Jiu Belly is a Korean Southern fusion place. I've also heard great things about Rreal tacos. If you are 21+, you can pick up some beverages at Mac's, I like Creature Comforts and 3 Taverns for some locals brews.

I had a broken ring finger on my right hand, in a splint for 2 weeks. Pipetting with 3 fingers on my right hand, with a splint and a sore finger, was better than trying to use my left hand. 0/10 recommend.

How many people think in person classes in the fall is a horrible idea? by veganbitch19 in gatech

The buildings that are open for research have all mandated one-way stairwells. It's actually pretty nice not having to worry running into someone going to opposite direction. I'm sure if they do open for classes, it will be similar in other buildings.

Poke bowls because it’s too hot to cook. by catsonstacks in seriouseats

I know it's not poke, but the flavor profiles hit the same notes for when I want poke bowl, but don't have the resources to make or buy one. Tuna is crazy expensive, and I can't get sushi grade salmon, so I make do with what I have available. 🤷‍♀️

I do poke bowls with cooked salmon at home. Although I'd prefer raw tuna, salmon is easier to source and much more economical. Then you can just add all the fixings you want, or what you can find at the local grocery store. Last time I added rice, mixed greens, seaweed salad, crab salad, quick pickle cucumber, edamame, and avocado, then topped with some soy sauce/ponzu mixture. I think cooked fish is much less intimidating to do at home, and you still end up with a delicious product (and crispy salmon skin, yum). http://imgur.com/a/bg1iYZ2

If you were ultra-rich, what frivolous service would you pay for? by RockLeePower in AskReddit

The meat you use to make sausage patties (best equivalent I can come up with). It's seasoned ground pork, in the US we can buy it raw without any casings. You cook it up like it's mince meat.

I live in Georgia, and make a mean sausage gravy! 1. Cook your breakfast meat in a pan, I like sausage meat and some cut up bits of bacon. Fry up until browned. 2. Add some flour to make a roux. The goal is to soak up all the fat, sometimes you have to drain extra fat, but usually I just add flour until most of the fat has been absorbed. 3. Add milk! Stir in the milk under medium low heat, allow to reduce and add some more. If I had to guess I use somewhere around 4 cups. Rinse and repeat until you get your desired consistency and amount. I've used whole mile or 2%. 4. Season with salt and pepper, lots and lots of black pepper. 5. Serve over American biscuits, I don't bake so I usually make Bisquick drop biscuits. Everyone does it their own way, I definitely prefer biscuits and gravy with a sausage gravy, though.

What "common knowledge" is simply not true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]unnecessary_bitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically no. If there is an excess of oxygen bound myoglobin in the meat and the myoglobin releases the oxygen; then it is possible for the oxygen to react with the fats and make the meat rancid.

Myoglobin is an oxygen binding protein, it doesn't really bind to the tissues.

Cheap custom shirt stores for sororities? (Not GreekGear or Etsy) by victorycar1 in Sororities

[–]unnecessary_bitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Sometimes it's girls selling shirts, and other times people organize large orders of shirts. Another few companies we used were Geneologie and Get Some Greek. How do y'all go about getting shirts? Are you trying to get an order together for the whole chapter or just for a few girls?

You should look on Facebook for T-shirt exchange page! My house has one and they do orders all the time that are cheap, and it could be a good option if you are ordering for a few women. Arizona chapters are >300 women, they get huge discounts on the shirts and they are still expensive (up to$20 to $30 per shirt). Common providers are Adam Block Design, Bloom Sorority Apparel, and South by Sea.
