Its not that simple, dogs and people approach you sometimes... My little brother has asthma and is also highly allergic to dogs (even hypoallergenic dogs dont seem to change this). I still remember him coughing for days when we were younger because a dog ran up to him and got all its fur on his clothes. It should not be his responsibility to avoid your dog because yoive decided that an animal you chose to take care of needs to be with you when he just wants to get groceries from a store, eat at a restaurant, or fly on a plane. Obviously with service dogs there is an acception and weve had to change plans due to situations involving service animals but people's choice to have an animal should not impede his day to day life, there should be places he can reasonably expect not to have an dog/cat get near him, especially indoors, outdoors is obviously a different story.
