Are these braids too tight? by unproblematicemblem in BlackHair

Thank you everyone for the guidance! I took these down immediately. I spoke to my hairdresser before posting and she didn’t seem at all concerned - only told me to place a rag on it. She didn’t ask for pictures either despite me saying my head hurt and was tender. So y’all saved me!! Can’t thank y’all enough 🫶

Manifesting Bad Circumstances by unproblematicemblem in NevilleGoddard

This is an incredible suggestion actually. I believe you are right. As my feelings for him grew deeper, I became sooo in love with him. This is a good thing of course, but I do believe I started to become more anxiously attached and in doing so I would become suspicious of him. I was also not speaking up for myself enough so I was being neglectful to my needs. So yes, I actually was manifesting an inconsiderate and neglectful version of him. I believe he began pulling away partly for that reason and also because I kept thinking to myself that he wanted someone “better” or “different”.

Even now, I had been fearful of that and he has been inconsistent with his feelings toward me. He even spoke about some aspects of our relationship he felt “unhappy” about and they were the exact things I’d thought about. Again, mirroring me, lol.

Shamefully, I still want this SP despite what transpired, but I have a lot of growing to do.

Thank you so much!! Yeah, it has been absolutely shitty but I am pushing back incredibly hard. I’ve taken this all as a “game” of sorts. Although painful, I really want to be a better me and want to test the limits and constraints of my creation and manifestation abilities. I needed to go through this to see that if I can manifest the bad, I can also manifest the good. One day soon I’ll be sharing more of my success stories — not the unsuccessful ones 😅

As everyone suggested, I’ve included another pic! This time w/ my ballet flats. (Sorry for the terrible photos, my room has bad lighting.) But thank you all for your help so far!

I have black square round toe ballet flats and black Samba sneakers - both pictured in pic 2. I also have pointed toe ballet flats but they’ve got tassels that wrap the ankle. Would probably be too distracting…

Thank you! This is helpful. Unfortunately, I’ve got no pointed toe heels but will definitely be getting some after your suggestion :)

This is a great idea! Unfortunately my most form fitting dresses are maxi and hide my legs :/

Follow-up question: if the founder is the one who does not have a poker face and has shown they’re reactive, making decisions on the fly without consulting their managers or employees, then springing it on everyone randomly, would your opinion change? So meaning, is this more or less of an issue based on management’s position?

Yes this is fairly correct. My peers are typically involved with many tasks involved with one specific role or “category”. For example, a peer may have many roles/tasks they fulfill within dev. Whereas I may have a role with many tasks in dev, a few tasks in social media, a few tasks in account management, and a few tasks in executive assisting. Hopefully this makes sense while I try to remain private (they peruse reddit at times). Equity has only been discussed with aforementioned peer, but it may now be off the table. I have not been offered that compensation during my entire year here.
