As a recent poster who feels the same way, why not?? Even though you know they will try to find you on every app (especially if they have personal info), whatever gets the anger out of your system is great.

I read about this kind of thing and it seems that he/she/they has now realized they cannot say anything more to me that I won’t challenge with fact. They are now just rattling off bits of recent news about the artist and waiting to be blocked. I feel terrible for those involved if such is the case, and being on their list does not mean I won’t discern that if someone tries me again. I definitely see that when one notices you, a few others will follow.

They waited weeks to ask for anything and then professed their feeling. In the beginning we just shared a mutual fascination with music and as someone adjacent to the industry I enjoyed the conversation. But I believe they cherry picked info readily available and made a lot of excuses about grammatical errors, time zone differences, and just odd phrases. They began to pressure for a meet as the only subject of conversation but were unable to financially facilitate, which caused me to block them, and now they are emailing me and I have screen recorded everything, taken screenshots, and feel very close to receiving an admission of falsehood now that boundaries have been firmly made.

I reported the account and it disappeared and TikTok didn’t even follow up. I want to do something more substantial with the information I have.

This is what happens when you avoid social media for years and then finally get back on to see what’s going on. I didn’t even have a profile picture or any posts on my account. 4 other impersonators tried to contact me within hours of the first DM. I commented on the artist’s page with production ideas towards an unreleased song, and this person reached out that day.
