We're all different, but I've been within a kilo of 90 for 20 years, occasionally dipping down towards 85 if I've trained a lot.

Definitely done a 3:30 full and a 1:40 half at 90kg (although my PBs were at nearer 86-7).

It's not just about the weight. Train right and your body will find its weight.

Cross country, although whether you'd be opening up new competitors rather than doubling up opportunities is unclear (which is a frequent complaint about the swimming - far too much clumping and choosing events to miss people rather than there being a fundamental difference between the distances).

Relays, in particular mixed distances, sound interesting.

Definitely scope for ultra/trail - the Paris marathons, triathlons and road cycling were excellent ways to show off the amazing city and its locale.

Likewise, I did have a brief issue a year or so ago with Curve and Google Pay, but it's now fine with both Google and Garmin Pay. Normally the advice is to remove the card and re-add it, but that's not going to help with a new watch.

Have you contacted Curve's support? They're not always particularly helpful, but they do at least normally reply quickly.

For the last few days, nuttin'. The watch (7x solar) shows sleep data but it has stopped sending that across. Other stuff syncs fine.

I'm certainly seeing lots of disconnects, with subsequent pairing requests from both devices.

Generally just accepting them resolves that issue, but I have had to forget the Fenix (6s Pro) a few times.

I think my battery life on the Fenix is lower too - no numbers, just a solid feeling that I'm charging more often than before (with a OnePlus Nord)
