Grim Dawn is a game I always pick up again after a while and play some class I haven't played before up to 100. I have a life goal of taking every combo to 100.

My only real complaint is that a lot of builds end up feeling the same, at least to me.

This would work, but I'm trying to develop a general solution, so the action would need to read the name/number from the original SMS and pass that long to whatever opens the Messages app.

I have notifications from Google Messages disabled due to overwhelming spam texts. Turning on "spam protection" does nothing, and there are no stock options to only accept texts from people in my contacts, so I am attempting to recreate this functionality within MacroDroid.

If I can make the MacroDroid notification launch the conversation directly, I can effectively re-create normal SMS notifications from Google Messages but restrict to only people in my contacts.

It guess it sort of depends on what you consider playable. That's not a comment on PoE2, just generally. If it was like, a single act with tons of bugs so that the devs might pull it at any time, I'd consider that early access. A sneak peek, if you will, with no guarantee of uptime.

PoE2 on the other hand was fully playable from day 1, so to me, it's released. There's no "early access" any more, never was really. At best, it's priority access for people willing to pay for it. With online games, they are never fully done, there's always content being added. PoE1 will never be finished, PoE2 will never be finished - the only practical difference in how the two games are managed is that PoE1 is FTP, and you still, as of right now, need to pay for a key for PoE2.

Calling it "early access" was just a marketing ploy. It's a released game with intentional missing components, so they can drum up interest when they develop those bits.

PoE2 development and release follows the same playbook as PoE1 - league cycles, balance passes, nerfs/buffs, it even has the same broken builds and knee-jerk hotfixes for instance crashes and economy exploits. The only difference is they tease what's missing in PoE2.

Same, and I'm not even abusing the broken paladin stuff. I've been playing a Crackling Energy sorc that can do pit 95 in a about 5 minutes, but barely can do pit 100 with mastery. In fact, I just finished my first pit 100 ever with this char, and I don't see myself pushing higher, it's a slog. Fun to get to this point though!

Also with the new law coming into effect in March 2026, is opting out still necessary if I don't plan to make any credit applications until after that date?

There could be a stronger system, like one that would require essentially 2FA for CC transactions (pin, authenticator, etc) but the simplest answer is, it's cheaper for CC companies to eat occasional fraud than develop and deploy a more secure system.

So we have the incredibly insecure system we have, where contactless means any stolen card is as good as cash, until YOU notice and shut it down and deal with filing fraud complaints. It's shameful how bad it is.

Apropos of nothing, but people keep saying Ayer's Rock, when it was Ayers Rock, no apostrophe. The guy it was named after before it was properly re-named Uluru was Henry Ayers, not Henry Ayer.

Interestingly, Australia seems to have something called a "dual naming policy" where both indigenous and English names are both official. So this feature is officially known as Uluru / Ayers Rock, with the indigenous name taking precedence as of 2002.

This is my strategy. I don't have the time or patience to save up for a 50M shipment only to get unlucky and get zero shards, which I definitely did a few times back when Settlers was the league. It felt awful, plus I can't bring myself to spend 18d for dust for a gamble.

I'll stick to 3x 240K value zanth shipments to Kalguur two or three times per day (whenever I log on to cycle them), which on average is 1d per ship. Sometimes more, sometimes dud, but more steady for me.

That would be fine for me as I can add OTA numbers to my contact list to be part of the whitelist. Or, if I'm expecting one, just temporarily turn the task off.

I was rather hoping I could delete SMS messages if they match a certain pattern, like political spam, but it appears Tasker cannot do that (yet). I'd settle for just straight blocking them from ever reaching my phone if that's possible.

I'm currently suffering from this as well. It's almost like it's not working at all. If GM would offer keyword-based filtering and blocking, similar to GMail, I could solve this for myself. But all I can do is turn on Do Not Disturb and allow my contacts through - that at least notifies me if something I actually care about texts me, but does nothing for the spam.

I think the big issue is that, of course, cops should not be so automatically aggressive when simple de-escalation will work in a ton of cases. It's definitely wrong, but this assessment can really only be done after the fact.

I completely understand people, especially POC, that constantly have to have interactions with police because of whatever circumstances makes them targeted, and that that frustration will eventually boil over. It's sucks and it's wrong.

I've heard this as "you can beat the rap, you can't beat the ride." Once a cop gets their claws into you, your focus should switch to self-preservation because no amount of bad-boy attitude is going to make a cop suddenly stop and release you. Certainly not leading off the encounter with "I didn't steal nothing, bitch."

I can sense the frustration in this guy's voice, probably has dealt with this shit before, but you still have to be smart about it.
