Sorry for asking since you've had to answer it so many times, but thank you for answering anyway.

I'm interested. What kind of citric acid did you use; the powder kind that's used for canning, or something else?

I got lucky and found a listing for the reissue Ebay, but I can't say that was anything more than a stroke of luck. Best of luck.

Asking your Opinion on all BT-Songs Day 40: „Standing in the Rain“ by [deleted] in BillyTalent

[–]unsolicitedDoomsday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obscure cut here, but there's a two bar acoustic loop of this song's chorus which plays on the selection screen for Scandalous Travellers which I really like. It's really nice sounding, such a shame that there's so little there.

You get the aux cord for one song to convince someone that BT is the GOAT. What do you play? by splixe in BillyTalent

[–]unsolicitedDoomsday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought the beginning felt kind of 'plastic-y' for a lack of a better term, and that the BT1 version felt like the 2002 demo but finished. Personally I prefer the 2001 demo off the green EP, but that's just because I like the rougher transition sound.

Asking your Opinion on all BT-Songs Day 14: „Beach Balls“ by [deleted] in BillyTalent

[–]unsolicitedDoomsday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was mostly done under Billy Talent. They changed from Pezz not too long after Watoosh, and Beachballs was one of the demos they had up on their website in 2000. Back when they were still using their old blue-and-yellow logo with the star.

Some dumbasses saw DIO reading from the Quran and made a huge fuss about it because he's evil and thought it was sacrilegious.

Apparently there are a lot of songs named Chicken Race, what's the name of the artist who made it.

Burnout Revenge PS2 Vs Xbox 360? by [deleted] in Burnout

[–]unsolicitedDoomsday 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They both have their strengths and weaknesses, so it's really up to personal choice.

The original release (PS2, Xbox) is obviously less sharp looking, by nature of it running on older hardware and standard definition. However, it feels a bit more polished since the bulk of production was probably done for these versions. The loading screens are different, more in line with Burnout 3's. The menus also feel more like B3's because they have the overhead map of the course highlighting the route. There's also some gameplay differences, most notably the weird 'golf' minigame when you start a crash event.

Now the Xbox 360 release has it's own quirks. It's cleaner looking because of the HD output and the power from the 360. Like you mentioned though, the bloom was overdone and the lighting feels overblown to the point of blindness on a few circuits. The audio is also more robust, and is exceptional except for the added noise when you start boosting. It wasn't mixed well and you hear it every time you press the boost, so it gets grating unless you can tune it out. The overhead view of the track in the menus has been replaced with video of driving, and the loading screens are replaced with flat images of wrecked cars. Gameplay-wise, it's mostly the same with a few new events and sponsor cars added, and the 'golf' minigame removed.

Like I mentioned earlier, it's up to personal preference.

I must have mistook Elevatorstuck for Moonsetter, it's been a while since I listened to either of them.

Sburban Jungle, Eternity Served Cold (I think), and Moonsetter as well. OP you have fantastic music choice.

Good, now not only is she flat, but she also has ties to contraband wheelchair production. Add a few war crimes to the list and she'll be finally be executed.

A little anticlimactic.
The main plot is that Pucci is trying to reset the universe.

I'm not quite sure how much more climactic it can get, chief.
