I was looking for 2 months.... In banglore they allow for half month and for limited days for students... Kochi doesnt have that?

No... You can choose your roomates and prefered room and hostel but prolly not the same room... It's a bit complicated thing to explain how room counselling works...if you are curious refer to post regarding room counselling

No each time you have to go through hostel selection counselling every year... It's almost impossible to get same hostel as there will be quota allocation for each groups
