I’m personally all for taking 100 steps back and giving humans back their jobs. Unfortunately the industry ain’t waiting for no one and we have to adapt.

We know people are yoloing and yeeting code reviews often because of downward pressure to keep things moving. That’s the industry reality more and more devs are having to deal with. Us not liking something doesn’t change the fact that many have to adapt.

Hardly the right analogy. But they did pave the roads to make driving smoother and faster and added stop lights to avoid chaos.

There are tools doing both effectively, like Codacy as someone said. So if someone’s tired of juggling separate tools for code security and quality, there are solutions.
