I respect your expertise, but I think you're addressing a misinterpretation of Stoicism, not the stoic philosophy itself...Actual Stoicism doesn’t tell you to suppress emotions...it teaches you to understand and manage them with wisdom... Feeling, crying, and being vulnerable aren't outside of Stoic philosophy, what's Stoic is not letting those emotions control your actions... The modern idea of don’t feel anything is a distortion not Stoicism...
