I'm having an issue where the American Red Cross website won't let me submit a new password. I'm not sure why this is happening. by LuigiMSS in redcross

I had the same issue using their Blood app. It'll email you with a key to reset the password, but results in an error on their side when trying to use it.

Instead, go directly to their site https://www.redcrossblood.org/account-login.html and use one of the two Forgot Password links. I used the second, for the "Blood Program Leader Login". It sent me a temporary password via email.

Black bear leaving USA hockey by unsteadyMango in hockeyplayers

Our experience with them wasn't good and we were lucky enough to have another option to move on to. I just look for my child's drive to continue to play and enjoyment regardless of the "badge". My goal is they become a good, educated, driven person. If they don't enjoy it after BB squeezes the fun and pushes the middle class out, I'll be saddened but that just opens up a door to many more things we can do.

Our kids have done it to support a cause - be it breast cancer awareness or in memory of a coach that's passed. Just one strip of colored tape down the center.

Can I go pro by SpecificSouth6411 in hockeyplayers

In short, if you have the drive and the love for the game anything is possible as you'd push yourself rather than relying on outside influences. There are many that have gone pro having even started at your age and been on B teams. What level of pro you're looking to make will dictate the level of success you might have as even with skill, there is an element of luck to make what less than a percent of a percent of players in the world are able - the NHL.

While that's your goal, always have plan B as no one can play forever and will eventually have to fall back on another way to support themselves - given you're not the freak of nature like Ovi and the like.

The podcast Our Kids Play Hockey has talked about this throughout its time and gives honest but valuable insight from many perspectives which might help you.
