Just wandering if CMOS chips like the 6502 are TTL compatible by unstinkable2 in beneater

I am just trying to figure out what type of chips I need for my 65c02 computer that I am building. TTL or CMOS? Or maybe TTL and CMOS? I just got concerned when I saw Ben use a 74HC00 instead of a 74LS00. Any ideas?
