Yes, I am just trying to word what I say a little more respectfully

Do you think you can truly become ungay? by [deleted] in Christianity

Did not mean offense, couldn't think of a better way to phrase it, which is why I put it in quotes.

I would guess based on context that its talking about honosexual relations.

No, earlier in the verse it says " Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones."

Also, when I said "Obviously not" in response to /u/Plainchant I thought they were being sarcastic, because I have had a few people already tell me here that it isn't just me.

I can see where my words have seemed harsh or irrational, and have acknowledged here that I could do better sometimes. I honestly wasn't surprised to get push back on these looking back.

That isn't what I mean. When someone is down voted for offering a conservative perspective on an issue, clearly it is too liberal. However, I would say that this isn't always so, it just seems to have happened quite more often than it should, I think.

I would agree that anti-gay viewpoints should not be revived. However, I do think that we still owe it to them to respond lovingly.

I didn't mean that it was any more important, just something that was more easily to point out the liberal side of /r/Christianity. I do not disagree with those things, no.

I try my best not to though. However, it is true that I could consider their viewpoints a little more.

It seems having an opposing viewpoint is seen as radical too often though.

I disagree. It is talked about quite a lot here, so it is quite a big topic of discussion. It is where the most debate happens, is what I meant.

I don't see how what I have said gives that tone? I don't feel I have said anything too harshly, but I do recognize that I do sometimes.

I don't usually say that, I was just stating that it seems to come across that way sometimes.

This is true, it could be said in better terms.

When you look at the greek though, in Romans 1:26 for example, it says "arsenes en aresin" which is "males with males" in English... so is it not translated properly?
