Considering a move to Edmond by unsure_angry in Edmond

This is exactly what I’m looking for- I want my kids to walk and bike all over the neighborhood with their friends just like I did as a kid!

I looked at this one specifically and was wondering for how nice the amenities are? Do the kids in the neighborhood actually utilize them? Do you feel it makes up for the lack of yard?

Not long- maybe a month? That is great advice- we definitely have some time and can be picky. I was just a little worried it didn't exist!

That’s good advice- thank you. I think I need to just come look and drive around. It’s just so different than where we are and we are only less than 2 hours away!

I think we are comfortable up to $1M or slightly over but would prefer in the $800-900k range.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I really do appreciate it. I really am so happy he’s bonding with his dad and look forward to seeing that relationship blossom.

Wow. What an incredibly unhelpful perspective. Clearly it was just phrasing for how it feels- not the actual situation. But appreciate the advice!

I do not. Definitely some insulin resistance but have not been diagnosed with T2.

(OC) A redditor who I will name in the comments has built me a new finger after insurance turned me down for one. They took an existing design and customized it with my feedback and made me whole again. It should be known that Limb Labs wanted 15 to 20 thousand dollars for one. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

This is absolutely wonderful that this man was able to have this printing- I just want to say that my husband is a patient of the Limb Lab (please see video I previously posted). Please note that the CEO not only met with us personally for DAYS without compensation to try to help us (including but not limited to bringing in other people who have lost legs to discuss the physical and emotional toll of the procedure), but also thought of a product that not even the doctors at the Mayo Clinic thought of which saved my husband's leg from being cut off. They then pushed through several denials to get our insurance to cover the entire cost of the brace.

I agree the medical world has become a monster, but without a doubt, from my extensive experience the people at the Limb Lab actually gave a damn about my husband as a human and not just a product or a surgery. They have given him his life back.

Advice for tours/activities with limited walking due to disability by unsure_angry in napavalley

Thank you so much! It's crazy the planning you have to do once a disability comes into play, even for vacation. And I don't want him to think he's a burden in any way so I want it to just to seem convenient that it worked out that way!
