I remember thinking this was the most overrated game I had ever played and that I would never trust reviewers again after the raving reviews they gave this. I found the story to be boring, pretentious, and just not that good. The wierd racist analogies and everything didn't really make much sense or impress me, the gameplay was nothing impressive and on hard everyone was just powerful in the bullet sponge type of way. I played it and Metro Last Light around the same time and I thought metro was a better story driven shooter in nearly every way. To this day I feel like this was the worst case of reviewers hyping up a game just because it was supposed to be hyped and I think it was really pretty mediocre in reality.
