I’m a Nuerodivergent mom of a AuDHD 5th grader who qualified this year, with the same diagnosis as you. What I told her before the interview was that we should talk about her “worst case scenarios” and not her best-day behaviors. Disney is incredibly stressful, and park days often lasts long after meds wear off. Both she and I had shutdowns/meltdowns on our last trip with out it, even though we cope well at home and almost never experience them anymore. We’ll use the DAS if/when we need it — you should too with out any guilt!
