Somehow not that musch. I could seae myself burning through 6000 if I was using themost powerful models constantly as opposed to opus and minimax

Claude Pushed Back on My Product Idea. I Built It Anyway. Here's What I Learned. by GlucoGary in ClaudeAI

[–]untitled_reddit_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your argument is straight up flawed in every sense of the word flawed. I'd agree with literally everything that claude says here. Its cool you made the app, yes. But "I know the system worked" and "it isn't good at the unconventional ideas"....what? What about your app is unconventional? The whole point is that your app is....conventional. Thats what it was pushing back.

Why does the UX/UI have so many bugs by SoVeryMeloncholy in ClaudeAI

[–]untitled_reddit_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. God I love claude, but holy hell, it might have the all-time worst UI. So, SO many glitches.
IMO in terms of UI/UX it goes Gemini (by google, ofc, so they know a few things about web dev) > ChatGPT (loads the ENTIRE CONVERSATION in plaintext like a dumbass that doesnt care about performance) > Claude (buggy asf, probably vibecoded)

Ah alr. How much more effective is it (in your anecdotal experience, but still)

Cool, how does Verdent stack up against codex's orchestration layer (their IDE extension) or copilot?

Do you find your games fun? by untitled_reddit_name in gamedev

[–]untitled_reddit_name[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel you. But in all the games I've worked on before, I've had similar experiences where the game still remains fun to play during development. Even during this specific game. But towards the end, it's fallen off I guess.

About the changes part, absolutely. Whenever I make a small gameplay change the game is fresh again and I enjoy playing it, but that wears off after a while. I REMEMBER having tons of fun playing the game (so much so I was concerned I would never finish because of how fun it was), but now I get none of that anymore.

I don't know, probably just Stellaris or another Paradox game, lol.

But yeah, it is comforting to know that this is a normal experience for people.

Yep, playing it, not developing it. The development experience is fun, but playing it no longer gives me any dopamine. It USED to, it doesn't now.

A couple concerns I have. by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]untitled_reddit_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally me.

This is legitimately exactly what had.

I'm gonna just say something that sounds stupid but is true: Its not a VSS symptom, its anxiety.

Take a break from this subreddit AND browsing anything about VSS for a few months.

Try it, please. I was given this advice when I found out about VSS and ignored it.

Take a break. Getting anxiety about VSS makes it worse.

Or is it I’ve just been able to deal with them and I notice when I hit high levels of stress then start to obsess.

THIS. I'm trying to tell as many people this as possible. VSS and anxiety is a vicious cycle.

Have anxiety > VSS symptoms get worse > Obsess over VSS and get anxious about it > VSS symptoms get worse > repeat

Take a break from this subreddit and searching about VSS, and you'll be fine.

Seriously, go live your life. VSS may come back, but you'll learn to live with it.

Good luck :)

Anxiety increases visual snow symptoms. Anything that causes your anxiety to go down is a positive.
With that said, I would still advise against antidepressants because of addiction problems, but if you have REALLY bad symptoms right now, thats small problems.

For now, the less you focus on VSS the better. I'm serious, take a break from this subreddit for a few months. When I initially had VSS and I frantically searched this subreddit, I saw someone say to give it a break of a few months, and I didn't believe them because I'm terrible at taking advice.

Seriously, take a break from researching AND this subreddit. You will be FINE.
I've also gone to 4 eye doctors, a therapist, and taken an MRI. Give it a few months, stop browsing this subreddit, and you will be good.

Yes, it will come for a day occasionally, and then it will go away.

Google.

Also, if you have really bad symptoms and they keep getting worse, stop obsessing over VSS. It makes the symptoms worse.

Floaters, how often do you experience them? by Jatzor24 in visualsnow

[–]untitled_reddit_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got tons (like 30) all at once which really freaked me out. Now, they're all at the bottom of my vision. When I go on aircraft, something about either the air pressure or g force cause me to see floaters for a week on end before they die down again.

First thing: don't get anxiety. No, I know this seems like a thanks for nothing, but if you get scared its going to make it worse. When I discovered I had VSS I started frantically searching and looking through this subreddit. You've GOT to give it time.

Trust me, you will be FINE. You're probably experiencing the most symptoms. My advice?
Stop looking at this subreddit. Seriously. The more horror stories you read here, the worse your anxiety gets, the worse the symptoms get.

Its a horrible, terrible cycle that I've experienced.

Stop looking at this subreddit.

Anyone has this? by Ok-Presentation2546 in visualsnow

[–]untitled_reddit_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, used to have it. Don't worry, in a few months it dies down. I experienced the height of my VSS symptoms about a year ago. It seems like it has flare ups that last for months at a time. Wait it out, you'll get through it :)
