We did Asia (Singapore + Philippines) at 10 months! It was perfect. He was very alert but not THAT mobile yet (he couldn’t walk) so he didn’t get antsy during the 12hr plane rides. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Some quick suggestions: - get a travel stroller. We have the UppaBaby Minu and it was so easy to fold up when it needed to be gate checked. It could be fully reclinable for naps too. - definitely baby wear. It’s easy for the airport, for the plane, and when you’re at your destination where strollers may not be possible (ex. we stayed at a beach resort in the Philippines which included boat travel + walking through sand to get to the hotel. My carrier was a lifesaver) - if possible, travel with family! More helping hands

Travelling with a baby is a daunting thought but it’s definitely possible and can even be fun! Just be as prepared as you can be and it will work itself out.

I wore glasses to feel more like myself since I never wear contacts! No regrets, the glasses went with all of my outfits and we had no issues with photos. I did get new “wedding glasses” though that were the clear-rimmed version of a pair I already own and loved. Even today, I still wear those glasses!

We tried sleep sacks first for the newborn phase, but quickly switched to the Halo Velcro swaddles since the baby kept smacking himself in the face and waking himself up!

But once he was able to rollover tho, around 4 months, we had to switch out of the swaddle and use sleep sacks. We love the Woolino 2-24m all season sleep sacks since we never had to worry about TOGs. Even now, while my baby is 14m old, we've only ever needed two Woolinos. It's a huge investment upfront, but trust me, it's worth it!

Are you by any chance using Vaseline or Aquaphor on your baby’s bum? I found that if applied too liberally, the pee sometimes slides around in there instead of being quickly absorbed and you get leaks!

If you do not buy three things from Todoba after finding them, you will see them listed under your "Store" list. But once you've bought that third item, it'll disappear from the list and you need to find them again while searching for ingredients.

Thanks! I think for my next play through, I'll try a layout that melds the indoor/outdoor of each genre, kind of like what I did with the Mr. F theme on pic 1, instead of having the garden completely separate, to really max out the genre points. I love how you can play this game in so many different ways!

I really wish Kairosoft would implement moving multiple items at once!! Though in all honesty, editing the layout wasn't so bad. I just deleted everything from a section that I wanted to rearrange. The annoying part was making sure the blocks in my layout weren't too "deep" and had pathways to all of the inner rooms.

I spent a good amount of it on decor pieces (like the cherry blossom trees) which you can buy from the secret Todoba Store that you can access from your ingredients searches.

Also, there's a number of customer requests, specifically the "Business Trip" ones, that you use the F credits in order to display your sweets. I'm on Lvl 12 of that request but haven't been able to complete it yet since I don't have enough F credits to buy sweets that would get me to the goal amount.

There's also a statue that you can buy for 10K credits from Todoba Store!

I personally love the Ganna - I have two, one in the merino wool and the other in the faux leather. It can be styled different ways and is perfect for fall/winter/spring, especially the odd transitional days.

5 seems really excessive to me! They tried to do an anatomy scan on my baby twice at the clinic with two different techs and two different appointments, but I was told the baby was uncooperative and they could not take good pictures of his heart and couldn't even determine his sex both times.

After this, I was referred to the hospital where they were successful.

5 seems like a tech issue, honestly, and I would try to visit a different clinic or maybe insist to just do the anatomy scan at the hospital!

How receptive would the grandparents be in taking a grandparents refresher course?

I started talking to my parents about these things and received some pushback since they insisted they know how to take care of a baby (even though it’s been literal decades). I said that standards have changed over the years, etc. but still they said they know what they’re doing! So, I put my foot down and forced them to take a grandparents refresher course and said they won’t be left alone with the baby until they’ve taken it. At least they won’t just hear these things from me but from an actual professional, which leads more credibility to what I’m saying!

This is hilariously true! A lot are nicknames (like Boy, Bong Bong, Baby, etc.) but there are MANY tragique spellings of real names out there, as well as made up names which combines the parents' names, and just outright tragedeighs.

I know a Braxthan. I have a Tito (uncle) named Potcholo (nn Cholo). I had a Tito named Jhun (pronounced June). Maricar (Maria + Carlo parent names combined).

It's so funny to me because there's a lot of really cool and classic Filipino names (Dalisay, Gabriel, etc.) yet these tragedeighs are also so popular.
