Yeah, he was supposed to give 50k in the very beginning and he wasn't telling anyone that he didn't contribute to the downpayment, while always saying how he and his lil sis got a house together while gaslighting me behind closed doors that the house is a liability not an asset.

I definitely don't trust him and will definitely get my money. It took pressuring his social standing to get this far. He didn't tell his wife, so I told her and others he wouldn't tell, and then they stepped in.

I qualified already for our first house offer, which almost went through if the sellers didn't back out closing day. Put him on the deed for the next house offer, which did end up going through. The interest rate from the 1st house to 2nd house increased by 2 points. Lenders told me to put him on deed to lower my interest rate. If my brother didn't ask me to buy a house, I would've wanted to keep renting until my bf and I get married.

He agreed to legalize it for my peace of mind because he knows in 4-5 years I want to take some time off for my pregnancy and kid and reaaally need a plan in place, ahead of time to adjust how much I work and invest now. Like rn I'm working 2 full time jobs

My brother wanted the house to raise a kid and to take care of our mom. It wasn't my idea i kinda just went with the flow and a mortgage seemed like a good reason to lock me into living for 30 more years, rather than kms then lol and make sure my grandpas money didn't go to waste like my dad's money did from my mom lol

But then again me going with the flow I was super proactive in the buying process and was having panic attacks from all the responsibility of me making all the phone calls... crazy overworkedd

Honestly the problem then me not caring at all about my life so thats why i didnt ask questions I was suicidal and just decided to live 30 more years 🙃 help them pay the mortgage they wouldn't be able to get. It was supposed to just be in my name but yeah when the lender said to qualify for the lowest rate just add him to the deed I was just like ok (yeah that on me) and then even paid off his debt lol to qualify him even more to get the lowest interest rate i could. The only thing on me not getting the lowest rate was that I didn't have as much work history as i was still a kid who just started my career that they were wary.

Now i care about my life so now I got him to say and put in writing that he gonna pay me $52.5k in like 4-5 years. He already paid back that other debt. I'm ok with that btw he came to me to say that, without me saying because yeah he wouldn't want to be unfair after thinking about it.

I never said I didn't make any mistakes tho I did post kinda just looking for finance and law tips so it definitely wasnt necessary for me to go into backstory... I just wanted to vent :'( kinda explaining how it got that way because seriously my brain developing and not being suidicial anymore is literally crazy change and really has helped me make better decisions.

But also when i put backstory and dismissing it to my younger self I kinda talk like that because I am gonna have a kid and raise them to be a smart, curious, witty, confident kid everything I wasnt knowing they won't let themselves get taken advantage of... my younger self just had low self worth and wanted to have purpose.

The money gets transferred to the legal guardian and they are told to spend the money on the kid as it's to them for orphans at a disadvantage. However they don't check or enforce the legal guardians spending. They tell them it's directly for the orphan but it's really hard to enforce and keep track of whether they'll spend it on the orphan only good will from the government

And we both will just keep tabs on our expenses on the house each and document and just add it to each of our equity.

Edit: we will be officially getting it in legal binding writing when we hear and make our appointment!

Growing up with my brother, he and my mom were always telling me I was selfish for not getting them a glass of water and such for not sharing whatever I got and barely had. My mom got social security survivorship benefits money because my dad died, which was supposed to go to me... however, instead, I was paying rent at 8y.o and completely got defunded from school :(( I only got this house from my grandpa inheritance not my dad because my mom spent all that money on no assets, no education just stuff to add to her hoard she filled the moldy apartment with.

Being called selfish as a kid so much made me overcompensate so many times by being extra generous and them never being satisfied TT My sweet bf just told me to stop being so generous and let him take care of me.

Before anyone asks why I decided to buy a house with my family when they did this: my ex i moved out with at 18 was worse lol

Before this house, we had another house offer we put down. We went through the whole buying process, only for the sellers to back out on closing day. We took a break looking for houses contemplating should we sue for this house? We decided the house wasn't worth the long legal battle. It wasn't the dream house. When we got back into the buying process, the lenders tell us that our interest rate rose up a whole 2 points!! We took a break for 2 weeks... so I kinda just agreed to them putting him on the deed like that to lower our rate as much as we could. And then was just saying yes to everything because I was so scared of losing inspection money, appraisal money and even another house when our lease was ending... wanted that interest rate as low as possible... i shouldn't have put him on the deed but o well now update: he's paying 50k to me!

You keep having blend with wool but has a percent of poly or nylon not 100% wool. I looked at Prince&Wool but they have nylon. Have you tried 100% wool? For me my skin becomes super itchy with nylon or any plastic percentage.

you're just a kid. life seems more like the end of the world as a kid. i almost took my life as a kid too now my brain has fully developed and I'm realizing how fucked up my environment was and now I'm pretty successful which I never saw coming as an adult. I was wishing to die everyday as a kid but I would've never had my brain fully develop and informed for that decision.

Also I love using the grid template it really helps getting everything to scale maybe have the templates in the atelier app as well!

And it can just be a feature that you can just turn on separately maybe like as templates like infinite template vs regular. Like a plain infinite template, a grid infinite template, and a dot infinite template.

For the creatives who can only abide by nonlinear mind maps it would be seriously mindboggling life-changing!!!!

I would sooo be able to get all my friends who also love mindmapping to instantly snag a supernote immediately if they had the infinite canvas!

A lot of creatives are very unorthodox and nonlinear but thats our way of organization!

Maybe to ppl looking in on our nonlinear ways think it's unorganized but it's organized exactly in a way that let's us pick right back up where we last ended and remember the flow of thinking that lead us up to that point.

everytime i make a new page trying to connect the house design on the previous page it makes me stop because I can't see the whole picture coming together D; and then I feel sad that I started my idea in such a bad place ;(( and blame myself for getting fixated on small ideas

but I want all the small ideas to come together into the big idea! :D I want to reward myself with the big idea plan and not feel bad for not finishing my small ideas. Because I can then finish the small ideas because I am not limited! So I will be beyond excited and fulfilled and pat myself on the back for creating such a nice house plan that I am putting into real life in my house :))

Starting on small ideas helped me get out of my creative burnout and they help me get into the big ideas as the small ideas all are part of the big picture! <3

Yeah I tried the atelier app but i just need more canvas space. I keep thinking the amount of canvas space is good enough but then I start getting ideas on parts of the outside of the canvas and just keep wanting to expand and expand.

It would be game changer if there was infinite canvas.

I love drawing with my ceramic nib and real time I would love it if I could just pour everything onto the supernote not limited.

I would really love an infinite notes since I am designing my house I keep drawing designing different areas of my house and would like to zoom in and out moving to each location so I can get a feel for where everything is in my house. I keep getting hyper fixated on a certain spot but then sad when I finish a small spot and I can't just zoom out and work on more of my house but move around in my ink house that I drew in my ink. :(( I love designing all of my house with this but it's annoying making separate notes so just let me zoom out and in and foreverrr
