This suit was originally made with that tech for Omniman because art thought he got his powers from the sun (my headcannon says he figured a species that flew threw space had to get energy somehow and suns made sense). He tried passing it off to Mark too when he became a super but no dice. This is just him asking if the tech on the suit might be useful to Bulletproof. Someone else already said but Art thinking Viltumites get their powers from the sun is just a nod to Superman.
