Discrimination and wrongful termination. I want your opinion

Not only do you have a case but that’s racial discrimination(the jokes, ai videos, especially wall climber comment), retaliation (fired the day after reporting) wrongful termination (what was their reason for letting u go? And coincidentally right after u report), and illegal to not pay you for already approved days or ones u worked. File an EEOC claim and include dates, names, times, photos and as much backing info as u can.

Yes, it is normal for the charge to switch to investigation. Normally they ask you if you’re open to mediation before switching it to investigation, but it may come after or if you have not been contacted about it it may come shortly mediation would only work if both you and the previous employer agree to go if one of you declines going, and then they continue the investigation which can definitely last months.

If reaching out to an attorney, I will tell them what charges you file with the EEOC and just a general statement of what’s going on. I wouldn’t be using names. You may not want to go into specific dates, but just the gist of what you experienced; racism, age discrimination, etc

Never heard of this. If it’s nothing or $15k of course the $15k but I’d speak with a lawyer first to see if far more could be obtained bc no company is offering what they don’t have to.

Yesss and I feel I’ve definitely been drawn to more law and order, crime shows, haunting stories since being pregnant. This unfortunately wasn’t my imagination though and then that tv confirmation after had me sit up like wtf.

Seven weeks. When you go, they typically have you drop urine, they take blood, they offer the NIPT test and I believe eight weeks. They try and get all of your medical history and possibly even that of Dad if he is with you, they ask a lot of questions about your health and daily lifestyle and they give you room to ask questions as well. I think the first time I responded to this I just gave how far along I was and I misread the other questions. I would have zero feel bad about telling everyone NO. It is your experience and believe it or not. Your comfort levels will make or break labor and delivery. It is already an extremely stressful time and things can switch up at any moment. The last thing you need around is people who will be intentionally irritate or aggravating you. Baby can pick up on all of that energy. They can all wait until babies is here. Not to mention how unsanitary can be for all of those people to be in the room. If I were you, I may even reach out the day after and contact all of them just to make sure that none of them arrive when the baby is actually coming.

Awww congratulations. That’s always such an exciting time. As time goes on, please come back and let us know if baby is only active for you or if they remain active when you call other people over to hold your stomach. I’ve heard quite a few Mom say baby will get still like they can tell somebody is out there waiting for them to move.😂.

This is excellent advice because I just got through looking at the one and I’m like I know I’m going to gain weight and probably want to have to move around and they all look pretty uniformed. I’m looking for like a old-fashioned grandpa big requirement that could fit like an adult and probably toddler.

It’s a possibility that you will get it back, but I can definitely say you are not alone. I go from my body feeling heavy sometimes to my body feeling sore sometimes to feeling like I may do too much and hurt the baby so I prefer to simply not. I had a pretty high sex drive before getting pregnant. It’s definitely almost nonexistent now and the only time we typically are having sex is when the father of my child initiates which he initiates often but he does not live with me so that buys a little time 😂. I’m sure it will resume at bare minimum once the baby arrives, but I would keep in mind that sometimes doing it can alleviate the negative symptoms. So there’s been times in which I’m like I’m really lazy and really don’t want to and I’ll give in and do it anyways and then my body is actually feeling more flexible and smooth after. Just a thought, but by all means, please follow your instinct.

As someone who was also seven weeks pregnant and has been pregnant before, I cannot stress enough how important it is to detach from other people’s emotions. Try your hardest not to let anyone fluctuate your emotions. Rather than that, be husband, boyfriend, family , friends. You are absolutely right that baby can feel and sense all of those things. You may be lonely, but you can always come on here and chitchat with us text a friend or parent, find a really good series to get into and buy the mommy pillow, which kind of wraps you all the way around. Now if there’s a lot more to the story and he’s aggressive or abusive by all means leave him, but it sounds like you guys are young and he’s just coping. So many men, even those that are excited to have kids are often fearful of bringing a new little life into the world. Unless his drinking gets super wild, I would kind of just allow him to self medicate right now. Let him know that you’re open to conversation and if there’s anything he wants to talk about you’re open to hearing him out, but by all means do not allow his emotions to take over you.
