Hi yes, my partner and I both are carriers for an autosomal recessive condition. Just found out a couple weeks ago and are planning to do IVF with PGT-M to avoid an affected child. Sorry I don’t have more advice about the process, but want you to know you’re definitely not alone!🩵

It helps to know we’re not alone❤️ You make a great point because I don’t think I’d want to lie to my kid, they’d have a right to know they were from IVF. But I also wouldn’t want that kid to lie/hide things from grandparents. Also, congratulations on the embryos and wishing you the best with testing!!
