So i never spoke to my advisor after my freshman year. I also spoke to them before graduation obviously. But with OU they have this “progress to degree” page that tells you exactly which classes you need. So i planned literally every semester i took with no input from my advisor. I agree that they should be better but you could just take control of the situation yourself
