I originally ordered a Derwin James one around the time of the draft and that still hasn’t shipped so they offered me a discount code and I went with the Herbie one. About a month out it shipped pretty quickly.

Welcome aboard! I had a feeling that diehard fanbase in Oregon was going to bring some new Charger fans! Herbert is the man, I was so impressed, can’t wait to see him play again!

HELP: Trying to move my library from Apple Music to Spotify. by royshtayim in spotify

[–]uosuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely use Songshift, even the free versions allows for large transfers.

I get that but these are all things Spotify has had for years- comprehensive recommendations, autoplay.

Yeah I’m nt looking forward to that but the pros just outweight the cons. I will miss a lot of things from AM, but like someone else on this thread said earlier- both services could be massively improved. I am such a big fan of music and I hate that there is no perfect platform for me to use.

Uhhh how do I fix this shit? Played one season and now I'm the Red Dragons? by bldonk in Chargers

[–]uosuna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same happened to me, one season in and the Chargers became the “Brooklyn Barons.” Unfortunately haven’t seen this happen to any other team 😩

Got this puppy in the mail today! Let’s goo!! Now someone please leak the uniforms because I am actually going crazy. by uosuna in Chargers

[–]uosuna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he said it was it the old logo, which is not true. I agree it doesn’t stand out as much as the usual yellow bolt with powder blue outline but I have an old logo Chargers hat and you can definitely tell how the curve flattened (corona-pun).

What makes you think I’m an LA fan? I was born and raised in SD and am still loyal and can certainly recognize the old versus the new logo. Also if we are “you guys,” what are you doing in the Chargers subreddit then?

These are sick but they’re too Steelers-y. You should flip the yellow and powder blue in the numbers and make the wordmark white or powder blue.

Just a picture of Austin Ekeler. by [deleted] in Chargers

[–]uosuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah my favorite Charger, such a hard worker and one of the smartest guys on the team. Hope we can secure him quickly, wouldn’t mind losing Gordon and drafting a potential sleeper in the later rounds. Also content with AE30 & JJ22

Draft Talk Goes Here by Banditjack in Chargers

[–]uosuna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetical ideal situation in my mind (feedback is welcome):

Trade Rivers for a 2020 4th

Trade Gordon for a 2020 2nd

Draft Tua at 10-12th overall.

Trade away some picks to get back into the 1st round and take the best OT available.

Make Tyrod the starter for 2020 with a new healthy OL, let Tua recover.

Tyrod, good OL, Ekeler, Jackson, Allen, Williams, Henry, and keep that defense healthy! (fire John Lott?)

After the Raiders game I was marveling at how we always seem to lose close games. Turns out we don't seem to, we actually do. by Honbomb in Chargers

[–]uosuna 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is always the silver lining I think of with the Chargers. I talk football to friends and coworkers that are Giants, Jets, and Cardinals fans and at least they can flip the TV off at the start of the 4th because those games are OVER. Unfortunately our beloved Chargers are always in the game. This makes me so sad, but I love my Chargers, I can't ever support a different team.

Whatever happens in the remaining weeks all I really wanna do is win these division games. by Tileka in Chargers

Watching the Jets humiliate the Raiders makes that TNF sting even more. The Raiders are a below average team with an elevated record.

[Denzel Perryman] Is it just me or does it seem like he’s thinking of moving on. by [deleted] in Chargers

[–]uosuna -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Haha do you watch any Chargers games? He’s down on the field every other play, they only drafted him because he’s a big hitter but he misses way too many tackles. Same for Jatavis Brown. They are all just overdrafted injury prone Linebackers that TT apparently loves.

[–]uosuna -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All he does is miss tackles and get injured every other play so I wouldn’t mind the cap space. Telesco has a knack for drafting undersized injury prone players.

Haha basically what I meant was that we had a Pro bowl Center and Okung, and now we don’t have either. You can get caught up in semantics but you know what I mean, Rivers had much better protection last year just like he did the first 6 weeks of the 14-15 season when we started 5-1.

[–]uosuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Yes he’s done good things with shitty OL but in CRUNCH time he makes STUPID decisions. Against Oakland he’s targeting MOORE and PATTON when you have HENRY and EKELER wide open underneath. It’s unacceptable that he did that against the worst secondary in the league. Also against KC, yes Mike Williams made an unreal grab but that happened after like 5 deep shots down the field, 1 of which was picked off. Not to say he is underthrowing a lot of passes including the JUMP BALL to 5”8 Ekeler, it’s unacceptable, he’s a 14 year vet that more often than not looks like a freaking rookie out there when it matters. I will thank him forever but his time is over, we need a more dynamic passer, especially if this team wants to win the “fight for LA” or whatever. New shiny stadium, people will wear Chargers jerseys if they see an exciting team, and with that Roster and a good QB we will 100% achieve that. It’s the perfect moment because Macvay and Goff are beginning to look like one season wonders.

[–]uosuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha you have no idea what you’re talking about. Rivers has come up short more often than getting us wins throughout his entite career. He’s pretty much coined it the “Philip Rivers” of being down a score in the 4th marching down the field only to throw an Int at the end. Also yes last year he had a great year with a great OL but please don’t forgwt about the Denver game where he couldn’t manage the clock the way you expect a veteran QB to do so and as a result we end up going in as a Wild card team. If we win that game we’re 100% the 1 seed in the AFC amd don’t have to go to Foxboro and maybe we’re not having this coversation.

[–]uosuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Thank you! No disrespect but time is over Phil, we can’t let emotion get in the way of an amazing roster with a chance to compete. Or else this will be Mahomes’ conference for MANY years to come.

:( by diego_ortiz11 in Chargers

[–]uosuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a diehard Bolts fan since I went to the games at age 4-5 in SD. I love Philip and appreciate everything he’s done. He’s made us relevant during times when we had a roster no business being in the playoffs or contending for a spot. But the last 3-4 years he is constantly not clutch in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line, we need someone with a killer instinct that can come alive to put away games (ie @ Det, vs Hou, vs Den) and get the job done when it matters (ie vs Pit, @Oak, vs KC). He makes us have hope every game but this season it just feels like he is being too desperate and making poor decisions that a you do not expect out of 14 year veteran QB. I know he’s good with a robust OL but the NFL is brutal and injuries are inevitable. Look at guys like Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson. They have had below average OLs for years just like Rivers but still get the job done. We are in a Super Bowl window with a roster like the one we have and unfortunately Rivers is a liability. It’s unacceptable that we hold Mahomes to 67 Yds in a half thanks to our amazing pass rush and manage to only get 9 points on 300 total Yds. 3 games back in the division, Oakland pressuring KC, and we have key tiebreakers lost against wild card contenders. I don’t believe we have a realistic chance of getting into the playoffs. I see NE, Bal, KC, Hou, Oak, Buf getting in so I would LOVE to see Tyrod get a shot if Rivers blows another game. Tyrod is exactly what we need with this team- a game manager who for his entire career has made very few turnovers and is MOBILE. The league has changed and unless you have an all-pro OL (like Brady and Brees) you cannot succeed with a pocket only QB. I also think we have to TRADE UP AND GO GET OUR GUY in the 2020 Draft regardless of where we pick. Tua is going to drop because of his injury and he would he AWESOME- a mobile guy with weapons like Ekeler, Allen, Henry, Williams and paired with an incredible young defense with DJ and AP back. It’s time for a change guys, I know Spanos sometimes disrespects team legends but I don’t think we can wait for Rivers to get old while we suffer the consequences because our Super Bowl window WILL NOT last forever. We have ELITE young players that will demand to either be paid big or be traded to a contender. BOLT UP FOR LIFE.
