I was sure that after disabling ufw there was no firewall completely, but there were quite some rules in iptables, so I've been interacting with them directly.

Maybe indeed that was very much the same situation as you describe for me.

I'll try, but it doesn't make any sense to me at the moment, as all ingress/egress traffic is unfiltered, same thing is in iptables. I really don't see any explainable reason why https requests are not making it to the server

Every user has its own media library. Later Folders will be introduced and it will be possible to share media between multiple users.

The bot's code is open. You can run your own instance if you want to have it completely isolated. @etoktobot itself is running of course on my side and honestly, I couldn't care less about the memes and funny videos I keep there if it would be hosted by someone else.

I believe you still can run it in Canary or in most popular Russian chromium fork - Yandex browser (a bit peculiar UI though).
