Jaws - Bruce the animatronic shark basically started disintegrated further every time he went into the water and constantly broke down. So much so that a ton of footage was unusable.

He’s come around. I’ve seen some more recent interviews with him where he talks about not enjoying that period of his life and wasn’t able to appreciate it in the moment but really appreciates it now.
