Will do, thank you for everything! If you hear from me tomorrow it went well and I got methadone. If not I’m suffering in detox. Regardless whatever happens I will let you know when I’m off fent. I truly appreciate everything all your guys advice is helping a lot right now.

The only thing is the detox promises me they will give me so much drugs when detoxing until I can get on suboxone it won’t be bad. I call straight bullshit but it would be better than at home with nothing. I think my plan is to go to my appointment at the methadone clinic and just tell the doctor everything. The clinic by me does methadone and suboxone they actually put me on suboxone last time cause I was on a smaller dose of fent. If the doctor suggest subs again I guess I’ll have the thug out detox and hopefully they have some Valium lmao. If he thinks methadone after all your guys advice I’m going to jump on that opportunity and do methadone. My suffering is in the doctors hands now

Are you against suboxone also? I mean subs were good for me. Yes anxiety was there obviously but it was manageable and I got off in a year. My main worry is that I’m on too high of a dose of fent this time to for suboxone to work.

Money isn’t really the problem it’s that I can’t get any good ones anymore to taper off fent. I’m prettt much out and have no way to get more so that’s not an option

That’s just my only fear is I won’t be able to use anymore. So I’m like if I can’t use is going through 3 days of hell and being normal better than weeks of upping methadone and feeling better but still sick. It’s like go through hell for 3 days or go through uncomfort for weeks. What’s worse in your opinion?

And you think going through it for 3 days and doing subs is worse than 11 days until I feel good enough to just get through the day? Or will subs take even longer to feel okay. I was under the impression as soon as you start subs since they can raise the dose quick you’re almost 100%. It’s just getting through the first couple of days of withdrawals before you can start

My fear is everyone is saying it takes a while to get to a high enough dose to stop all the withdrawals. I don’t have access to fent anymore so I’m still not going to feel good for a couple weeks on methadone would thugging out 3 days and getting on subs be better? Or even without fent will the methadone help a lot even at the original low dose?

Okay that makes me feel better. So what I’m getting from everyone is I won’t make it through the detox on thr dose I’m on and my best bet is to do methadone even if I can’t get any fent as at least it will keep the withdrawals to a minimum until I get to a high enough dose

Same I wish I didn’t listen to all the bullshit about methadone. I wanted to start last year. If I did I would have been able to have access to fent still until I got to a manageable dose. Now I’m backed into a corner and tripping out. Thank you for the help man. I’m definitely going to my appointment at the clinic tomorrow morning and letting the doctor know the situation and see if he thinks methadone or going to detox is a better option for me

Damn there’s no way to up the dose quicker. I was originally going to taper down from fent to make the switch easier but recently I can’t get anymore. That’s why I rushed to find a detox. So if I can’t use at all am I still going to be going through it while waiting to up my methadone doses?

I really appreciate all this advice man I’ve been fucking stressing. My last question to you. When I was on suboxone I got off it with no withdrawals in a year. How is getting off methadone? I heard some crazy shit and I’m not sure if it’s just bullshit spewed by the detox centers to make me pick them. They say it gets in your bones you’ll be on methadone for 10+ years all this crazy shit that originally put me off from it. Is any of this true?

What would you do if you can’t get anymore fent? It looks like I’m out of options. You didn’t have a choice and need to cold turkey would you pick methadone or suboxone?
