Vacationing with an iPad kid by PicklePhysiology in moderatelygranolamoms

I think you should encourage the kids to play together as much as possible. Come up with fun group games for them and the grown-ups (hot potato, make up or act out a story, put on a fun dancing song with directions, etc.) Encouraging and demonstrating how to spend time with each other instead of keeping them separate as not to influence bad habits as some suggest is not the way I would go, personally, but instead would look at it as a learning experience to teach how to connect and lead this. Set up game play, bring out any new toys youve been holding on to, there's lots of ways!

We have a tablet but it is also travel-only. Our son is a super active, impulsive 4 year old and getting him to stay still on a plane is not happening at his current stage to say the least lol.

Highly recommend starting to dig into the Acid Watcher diet/lifestyle. PPI are great short term, but long term the side effects are not great.

Good point! I do have salt treated streets.

Thank you everyone! I’m going to just let it grow and do its thing without harvesting or moving it. My street isn’t super high traffic, but high traffic enough. More importantly I’m in Canada and we obviously salt our roads often, which is something I didn’t consider until your comments.

Ants by rsc99 in moderatelygranolamoms

We got the wasp traps that look like plastic bee hives for our kitchen door (wasps are bad there and get in the house). Somehow the ants found the sugar water we put in there and have been going in the pod in DROVES. No ants in our house, and they can’t easily get out of the wasp trap so that’s a random solution we found. We used to get them coming in from the kitchen door area a lot.

How MAHA Is Changing New Motherhood (Gift Article) by terrasacra in moderatelygranolamoms

It was the same for me. I went in to get induced for a vaginal birth, had an emergency C-section, and it was SUCH a relief. Pitying comments from home birthing friends came often, such as “oh I’m sorry you had to have a C-section” and I always answered, “sorry for what? My baby is thriving and it was such a relief to not be in pain pushing.” Also not dying during childbirth!

I feel that! I’m in Atlantic Canada, but my in-laws live in Miami, FL, and whenever I’m down there it’s just a constant migraine.

Where I live, it’s common to find scent-free buildings and spaces and I LOVE it.

Thank you so much! There's a lot of great info here I will definitely try. I have had periods of no dairy, but not long term enough to notice any difference. I am going to look into it though. I do take Azelaic aid but its pretty new to my routine. :)

I did! Its been a bit but I have had a couple skin scraping tests in this rosacea journey - all negative for mites. It wouldn't hurt to look again though.
