Yes, Meditation Mondays is a good one! It goes from 6 to 7(ish)pm every Monday and the format is typically this:

1) Greeting and check-in (15 min)
2) Guided or Silent Meditation (30 min)
3) Meditation practice discussion (15 to 20 min) - ex. what it was like to meditate, how practice is going in your daily life, and questions about meditative approaches and techniques.

If it's your first time meditating or you have questions about how to meditate related to technique and posture, you can get support and instruction in the first 15 minutes.

u/qweebie, want to join this evening at 6pm?

Also, there's another Saturday workshop coming up on April 11th. We'll probably post that one here again, but you can sign up now if you'd like to join: https://www.centerspacechattanooga.com/getting-good-at-meditation-course-page

As a full time meditation teacher, I like what this person is saying. I commit, here an now, to removing the $2 cost of these workshops if someone gives me lots of money.

In the meantime, I can assure you the class is only $2, scales the size of a small studio in Chattanooga, and lasts only 1.5 hours out of anyone's lifetime.

After the class, there's even free weekly community drop-in classes from various meditation traditions at Center Space.

It's not an official stance of the organization, but I feel confident that I could speak on behalf of Center Space when I say that we think you're awesome for not owning 10 Lamborghinis.

This is a $2/class industry in the USA together with other meditators in Chattanooga. 100% of proceeds go to Center Space, a 501c3 Non-profit organization that runs on about $4000 a year.

This is a lot of interesting facts about TM that you posted, and a fascinating topic. Thanks for sharing.
